Hey everyone, I actually found this forum by accident, because I just found out about Figuarts DBZ figures. I'm looking to get into collecting them. So I ask, where to start? I live in the LA area, so are there any shops to look out for and good places to get them online? Any way, nice to be here and hope to start collecting like you all.

Most of us here really like the SH figuarts line because they are the most accurate and most articulated figures out! I say you pick up a SH broly because one thing you'll learn about the line is that they appreciate really fast! Just look at SH trunks! I say you pick up the newly released Broly before his price jumps! It will! also check out the datong bootlegs of the SH line. they already have out both vegetas and are working on a frieza. Datong is a bootleg company that makes decent enough bootlegs for around $30 each. As for SH rereleases, they are rereleasing manga versions (the line does manga colors and anime colors for the original 3 releases: ssj goku piccolo, gohan) of gohan in april, and ssj goku in may so try not to buy them till the rereleases |

Welcome to the community! I'd echo everyone else about picking up Broly, first. Then, I would preorder the coming releases like Vegetto, Android 16, and the reissue of SS Gohan. I think SS Goku is getting reissued again this year, so you may want to hold off on picking him up and wait for the prices to go back down.
