Hey everyone! I thought I would finally join since I've been checking out this forum as a guest over the past year or so. Lots of good stuff here. I used to collect DBZ/GT figures as a kid and I'm just now considering getting back into it.
The Figuarts line is what really caught my attention and reignited my interest in all things DB. I just purchased all the Orange Bricks to re-watch the DBZ series and now I'm looking to buy a few figuarts! Any advice on the best ones to get? I'll probably start with base Goku and I've already pre-ordered Vegito. I'm really hoping for a Majin Vegeta figure to be announced with multiple faces including his non-majin one and both SS and regular hair.

If not, you're gonna regret it later. He is going to skyrocket in price real quick and youre not gonna want to look back and wish you had gotten him. Actually I got the name idea from the character in Steven King's Dark Tower series. However, I do like King Crimson's music! I think I'll pass on the Broly. I was never really into the Broly movies enough for me to want to buy him for $80/90. I'm definitely getting the SS Gohan re-release though! |

you should get Frieza or Cell before their price getting even higher!
also, you must get Broly! you're going to regret about it later. you should at least get him and keep him close, if in the future you'll decide you don't want him, sell him. if you do want him, open him.

yeah that gohan rerelease is awesome! i still suggest you get the broly. Though i understand if you dont, i know i was on the fence about buying it

Welcome to DBF! Why everyone so far has advised you get a broly is because it's a good investment opportunity. As you might've noticed already, DBZ figuarts prices tend to skyrocket with time and broly might be the best selling figuarts so far. It's up to you in the end. I'd personally recommend you get cell, frieza and saiyan saga vegeta first as these are the ones that are currently getting rare to find and have already started going past the $100 mark. However, if you wouldn't want to spend that much on figuarts like me then I'd recommend you get android 17 (my favorite) then piccolo, android 18, and finally krillin. Enjoy your stay  |

Thanks everyone! Currently I'm most excited about receiving my first figuarts figure, Son Goku. He is still available for $42 and free shipping from Barnes and Noble if anyone else has yet to buy him. If I were unable to buy any other figuarts, I would at least have the main character of the show lol.

well, he is an amazing figure and you're going to enjoy him, but be careful about the kamehameha effect, it get dirty really quick
