I've changed some items in the programming regarding polls on DBF.
I find polls incredibly hard to reliably click, so on the desktop version of DBF for phones (and tablets) (that you can load on your phone by pressing the menu button and telling it to load) I have added some space between the poll choices and made the checkmark boxes bigger. Let me know if this improves your experience at all... or makes it worse.
The default mobile version is not something I can modify. I have requested ProBoards modify their programming and add more space between the poll choices so they are easier to click.
Hopefully this will take some of the frustration out of voting when you are using your phone.

I have no issues with polls on my iPad other than when you vote it takes a few seconds for the poll to update. Which means I can vote once every few seconds and not just click all my choices in one go and let it update. Also incase you were wondering how it looked on a tablet:  |

Gohan Yeah, the updating is very, very slow on phones on the larger polls because it has to recalculate all of the percentages. Nothing I can do about that I don't think (easily), but it sure does suck! I don't know if it is because phones and tablets have very slow processors compared to computers or what it is. It looks a bit goofy now, but hopefully it improves the process. Let's hear what others have to say. It may be possible for me to align the bars to the center, I just haven't looked into it yet. BTW, Gohan, did you have your tablet sideways when loading the page and then turn it? Or did it load with the yellow bar going onto two lines? If you hit refresh is it still on two lines?

Yeah I thought so. I noticed it when adam was doing the character polls and you could vote a lot. Also yeah I noticed that as well. Just checked and when I load it sideways and turn it, it has 2 lines. Doesn't happen when I load it in portrait and turn it landscape and back.

Anybody else want to provide me some feedback? I need to specifically know if the changes I made 1) made things better 2) made things worse 3) made no difference as far as you can tell to how hard/easy it is to vote from a phone when loading the page in desktop modeI can't change the mobile version, only the desktop version loaded on phones. Voting on the mobile version is ridiculously difficult (at least on my phone), and I can't change that. I'd specifically like to hear from somebody with an iPhone 4 or 5... iPhone 6... and Galaxy S4 or S5, so please test it out if you own one of those devices.  And when you post, tell me what type of phone you tested it on. |

That's better. Though I will admit (aside from the subject) I have been having trouble clicking anything on my phone. The tabs and links have to literally wait 30 seconds when each page comes up for them to work. No other website has this problem on my phone and it just started 1-2 weeks ago. I can scroll up and down, the page is loaded, but nothing is clicking.....until 30 seconds later. Weird. Then occasionally, when I first get on the app, the page just dies.
Btw, go option 4!

I have problems using the site with accuracy. There's a lot of programming, and the default Android internet browser in particular doesn't seem to like it. Sometimes the banner ads get in the way of things I am actually trying to click.
Tapatalk and the ProBoards App are still the best way to look at DBF on your phone. I forgot who, but somebody brought to my attention that the attachments aren't working in Tapatalk. I don't know why, but it's nothing I can fix.
