Higurashi when they cry. who has watched this show?

watching it now and it is quite bloody/brutal. I love how its several hundred different universes that are actually the same one universe looping itself (evidence of this show later in the series) as well as the fact that you need to keep in mind everything you have already watched in order to truly understand wtf is happening. I didnt understand the first 4 episodes until the end of season 1 and was like "wait, this happens in this loop ... that means that at the start this happened because... O sh!t that makes the opener loop even more brutal/sad"




it has its usual anime sitcom moments (which is what it plays itself as at the start)
