Thank you both! That was extremely helpful. Q&A like this keeps me from wasting my money on figures i didnt really need after all. Does any one have a reference for how realworks saiyan saga vegeta scales with sbc or irwin figures? No, he's much too small. If you don't like the Jakks one, the HSCF one is about the same size, he's just significantly more beefy.

Here's something I found that I made for my own reference when trying to figure out the sizes of HSCF Turns out the Chaozu with a smaller head is perfectly to scale, Saiyan Saga Gohan is almost perfectly to scale, the Krillin with a different head is to scale, and the Vegeta from saiyan saga is just slightly large, but not by much (enough that I didn't want to buy one). The rest of too small, except SS Gohan, who is too big and he's weird looking. quote]  |

How does ultimate figure series 20 vegeta scale to irwin figures? sbc saiyan saga vegeta has poor presentation value. I was looking to find a better version.
The saiyan saga vegetas with scouters and tails i kinda consider as seperate from these two. Out of those i want the jakks one but theyre extremely overpriced. Thanks for the hcsf reference picture. Thats a pretty nice vegeta. Im only now starting to delve into the japanese "non toy" lines like these. I dont want too many of them in my collection, im mainly interested in action figures, but its impossible not to want more of them once you start getting them beause they look soooo much better.

I think UFS Vegeta is similar in size, but he looks so stylized that I have never cared to own him. His armor is strange and his head is bizarre. The UFS Piccolo is pretty fantastic in an Irwin/Jakks collection though. There's even one that was rereleased in DBZ Kai packaging that is anime colored, but he didn't come with an alternate head or hands. Plus, he was HEAVILY bootlegged... packaging included. You can tell a bootleg easily by the color of the pins in the shoulder articulation. I think they are blue or something on the bootleg. I don't remember what they look like on the legit one. The best Saiyan Saga Vegeta to me is a Jakks one with a different head on it, but it would need to be shortened in height and completely repainted well to be up to my standards. I wouldn't be against selling my old Irwin Vegeta I customized into Saiyan Saga Vegeta if you're interested. He's well painted for being 10+ years old. I have a Jakks Vegeta I intend on head swapping and fully customizing someday, so that's why I wouldn't be against selling this one: dragonballfigures.com/thread/45/branjitas-finished-custom-figures?page=2&scrollTo=76 If you're interested, let me know. He's certainly better than SBC Vegeta, UFS Vegeta, and better scaled than HSCF Vegeta. I would honestly need to think about a price though and he couldn't be had for too cheap. |

PM sent bran. Thanks for the tip on the piccollo and info on UFS figures. Ill look further into them. It just seems like theyre always carded when i see them. It would be neat to see them all in photos with irwin or sbc counterparts if anyone has the collection loose or if theres a youtube collection/review or something someone can link to.

doomprevails88 Yeah, I have half of those. They are HG scale, or just slightly larger than HG scale, so about 3.6 inch scale perhaps if HG is 3.5 inch scale.

Yes, extremely out of place. You could probably customize an Irwin Chichi to look reasonably like end of DB Chichi just by slicing off the top of her hair very nearly, sanding it smooth if necessary, and then repainting everything. No sculpting involved. The fact that she was wearing red pants isn't all THAT important. There's not much wrong with her wearing a dress version of what she was wearing.  If you want to sculpt, adding wrist bands would be easy. Pants difficult. I'd recommend boil and popping her head off, taking the scarf off, and painting the pieces separately. You could donate the scarf to an Irwin Bulma and repaint her dress red to make an alternate Buu Saga Bulma. |

 Not sure about a Super Saiyan 3 Goku, but here's the WCf Goten and Trunks. They're not perfect, Trunks' head is big, mainly because of the forehead, but I think it's one of the best Super Saiyan Kid Trunks heads! |

He blends in but is too short to be jakks "scale" Even though i added a vest that his him, and that is jakks ss vegeto with a hair repaint.  ssj2dakotaGreat pic! I always wondered about those 2. Now im going to get them for sure. Soooo much better than the irwin ones |
