Definitely too big, maybe the bootleg Adrenaline bought will be closer! When you get it Adrenaline, take a pic with this same Goku!

Even though I've got the SHF Frieza and all the Jakks, Irwins Frieza except the battle damage one(If anyone has it for sale please let me know), I still wanted to get the FRS Frieza... reason being this... Their tag team appearence in GT plus I guess I just wanted a reason to experience this figure in hand. . The figure does not fit in perfect scale to the DBGT SS kid Goku but is close to it I think and in the complete collection it does not stand out since almost all the Jakks GT figures are big.

Well, as you already know, the bootleg came as the same size as the original unless the one I got was an original. Anyhow, I might be able to remove 3/4 of an inch from his belly and some pants below his belt sash.....if I ever get around to it. Or just resell him.

He seemed pretty huge, I think reselling him might be worth it.

Could some helpful member please post a picture of a realworks, deformation, posing figure, keychain, sofuvi or combinations of other saibamen next to a irwin/jakks figure?

I can verbally tell you about most of them.
The Chara Puchi has the right size head for 5 inch scale, but a tiny body.
The Real Works has the right size head, but it is ugly compared to the CP, and he is overall 4 inch scale with a 5 inch scale head. He's what I currently have in my collection, until I make a 5 inch scale one using the superior CP head. (Saibamen were the size of Krillin, just for reference.)
I didn't know there was a Deformation one, but I would imagine it is 2 to 4 inch scale with a big head. Generally Deformation figures have 4 inch scale heads and the bodies vary.
The WCF/DWC one has an enormous head and maybe a 4 inch scale terrible body and little tiny legs and arms.
The Unifive Posing Figure ones are something Adrenaline used to own and they were 3.5 inch scale, not too much larger than HG as far as I know.
The Sofubi pair of them are 6 to 7 inch scale. Looks decent with Figuarts Krillin since he was made larger than most of the other Figuarts. They are generally the best option for a Figuarts collection.
I'm not familiar with the keychain. Most keychains are close to HG scale.
There's also a Mini Big Head Plex/Popy Ultimate Technique (or whatever) one spitting acid from his head. It is likely a 7 inch scale head on a tiny body.
And then there's a regular Mini Big Head Plex/Popy one on an orange base, and his head will be 5 inch scale with a tiny body, and I know it's totally inferior looking compared to the CP head.
The best option for an Irwin/Jakks collection without customizing is unfortunately the Real Works figure. The Gohan he comes with is reasonably ok for a 5 inch scale collection as well, if you don't have the basically perfect HSCF Gohan. The second best option would be to ignore scale a little bit and get Unifive Posing Figures. They won't scale at all, but I think it's better to have too small Saibamen than waaaay too large like the Sofubi, just so they'll look small with Vegeta and Nappa. Just my personal preference.

thanks bran! Do you think bootleg realworks are the same size as authentic ones. If anybody could post an Irwin or sbc comparison with a realworks or deformation saibamen I would still love to see it

Awesome. Thanks a lot. I'm probably gonna bombard this thread with requests over the next week or so Can anyone post an image of hcsf trunks in battle armor next to its Irwin counterpart?

I don't have that one, but I've seen it in person. He seemed a bit shorter, smaller, and his arms are very short. Here's a pic I just found of him with Figuarts Trunks, who isn't that much bigger than a 5 inch scale Trunks.

doomprevails88 I have it back home! I'll have to check through my photobucket library later on but I'll post if I have a picture on hand already. I really like him, but the head is slightly small compared to most Irwin figures.

Thank you both! That was extremely helpful. Q&A like this keeps me from wasting my money on figures i didnt really need after all. Does any one have a reference for how realworks saiyan saga vegeta scales with sbc or irwin figures?

ssj2dakota. Thanks it really does help. His arms really are too short not to look funny when hes next to an irwin figure. So is that icarus chess piece in the background bigger than the megahouse icarus?
