Your sign up message mentioned that you couldn't get into the previous account. I took that as meaning that you created a new account and were therefore discarding the old one.

A user can only have one account on the forum, so I disabled the account for now until it could be possibly deleted later.

What exactly was the issue with the previous account? If you forgot your password, did you try the password retrieval? If it's been fixed, I can go ahead and reactivate the account. I'll need to disable the new account though.
