I love that shenron and he would be awesome to own especially if u were a gasaphon collector (or however u spell it) I can't think of any other articulated shenron unless it's like a plush one. He could use some refining but still a great looking figure IMO.

Well there are alredy two big Ichiban Kuji Shenrons, the Taki one, a couple of resins, and the Toy Festival as well. I have the 2010 Kuji Shenron and he look fantastic displayed in my Gashapon collection. This one really does pale in comparison the other stuff already out there. A waste of a release spot in the line IMO.

I honestly couldn't care less whether they make a shenron or not. IMO he Will cost a fortune (at least $100) and common guys how many poses could you come up with for shenron??
To me shenron could be the only figure where this "FIGUARTS EX" can come in handy.

Well I disagree but that's the good thing about life we don't all have to like the same things Like bran said the kuji one is a bust not worth the $ IMO the figure itself looks really good but he's not big enough the base is bigger than the figure. Shenron not being long enough big enough seems to be the problem with all most all of the shenrons out except maybe the taki one. The taki one is prob one of the best shenrons u can currently buy along with the prize one that bran also had the bootleg version of but both of those r extremely expensive. The jakks one is crap IMO. Adam made a custom out of a bootleg jakks looking one I'm not sure if he added more length to him to make him longer or if he came that way. But when I think of shenron I think of a very very long snake like dragon and this prototype has that look which I like this is a picture that has most of the shenrons I was talking about and then the last pic is of the custom one Adam made which has an awesome head sculpt IMO.

The kuji 2006 floating Shenron is really great. The bootleg has an annoying odor similar to silicone that never seems to go away.
The kuji one in the swirling toilet water is ok... he isn't long enough and is in a weird pose. The base is very ugly in my opinion and it is probably 95% of his very heavy weight. The base has a strong odor to it that smells similar to inflatable pool floats. I don't know if the smell eventually goes away or not, because I just received mine last week and I bought it mint in box.
The taki one concerns me, because he is also not very long. His pose is better than the toilet swirl one, but he also looks to have dumb looking yellow stuff as part of his base. I've always liked it, but it is always so expensive... and he doesn't appear to have a very fancy paint job.
The Jakks one sucks. If you bought 3 of them and managed to hook them together it might be pretty nice.
The Mexican bootleg is a slight improvement over the Jakks.
The figuarts prototype I am pretty sure I asked Bluefin about at A-kon and I am pretty sure they said he would not be produced. I think his head is much too large for his body, and his body never changing in girth is visually annoying. I do like his length though. Considering how expensive Tamashii stands are and how many it would take to support him in a cool pose... I would rather not have him. I would rather have one in a permanent pose without articulation.

The 2009 is beautiful and very affordable, amazing detailing, it's a top notch piece. I'm sure many collectors would appreciate that piece. There are also other stuff like the creatures and other medium sized Shenrons. I didn't put in the Toy Festival since it's expensive and look kinda silly.
There are already so much great looking statues out there, which you can see for yourself above how they look like. The Banpresto stuff really are the top of the market and look flawless.
Point is, there are plenty of great looking Shenrons out there, some even are in a quite affordable price range.
We don't need a mediocre one, that will cost 150-200$, need a ton of plastic to support it, and will take a character release spot, out of the 3-4 that we are getting in a year.

Well I hope they do make him granted I would hope they fix the issues that bran talked about but to be honest they r never going to make him. Also like bran said I would almost rather he be a statue cuz even if he was articulated id put him in one pose and prob never move him but the option would be nice. Again the main reason I want this one is the length there r no shenrons that r even half his length and to me shenron being all long and snake like makes him as a character. And we left out the new mega shenron which is a nice looking figure he would be even better if he was longer/bigger

Looks cool but I think he would look better as a Zero figure.

they arent making him, it says right in the card "shenron- display only" It doesnt make sence on why they would pay money to have a shenron figure built, and not sell it. Its like losing money. I wpuld buy one. But if its for display only. That sucks.
