Anybody seen this show? I was channel surfing just now and it's currently on tv right now and I've been watching for about three minutes. It would be fun to see a DBZ correction on this show probably.

That's the show that had the Cadillac, Salon collection. Go figure after he got appraised he went to Mecum Monetary.
If you're a collector you can do a base appraisal. Most are people wanting free advertising and appraisals before they sell. Just like hoarders getting the home cleaned for free because it's mandatory. They don't change. Lol
Jordan Ambrose needs a show to just go out and show collections. The buying/selling shows got old when they started.
If this is the show I'm thinking of they show about 4 collections in 30 minutes. Finally a show that doesn't show the same piece of footage 10 times.

I never heard of that show until now. Thanks for pointing it out Branjita. I actually love watching shows like these where they show off people's collections it inspires me.

It'd probably make for a good episode as your collection if quite substantial. Whats cool about your collection is how indiscriminate it is. Pretty much if its interesting, you own it.

I'm watching this show again and I've seen about 7 episodes and I gotta say... the show is incredibly boring. I would be more entertained if it wasn't so focused on appraisals. If it was just about showing collections, I'd like it more.
I'd never go on a show like this after seeing several of the episodes. I think it makes you a major target for thieves. These people with million dollar collections of sports stuff and junk like that, that's easy to steal and carry off without damage, are not being smart by being on this show. The guy says what town they live in, shows the exterior of the house, and then says what the collection is worth. If somebody recognizes you, all they have to do is follow you home and plan their raid based on the footage from the episode. Kiss your Babe Ruth baseballs goodbye!

The show also shows me how collecting can become a sickness lol. I think/hope I'll be done with most of mine as soon as I fill in a few gaps that remain, and then I can just focus on custom figures. Makes me want to sell a few things I don't appreciate as much lol

My collections are always changing, but as far as my Dragon Ball figure collections go; I've limited myself to two lines of figures. The Super Battle Collection is one and Figuarts is the other. I've always loved the SBCs and since the line is no longer being produced there's a finite amount of figures to seek out. The Figuarts are a little different; who knows how many figures will be released in this line. Figuarts are also costly as well. If I do ever pick up figures from another line, it hopefully won't develop into a completionist thing where I have to collect all of them.

Figuarts and things-that-go-with-Figuarts for me, except for some small things that I bought in Japan. I'm not indiscriminately buying up Dragon Ball items, don't have the money anyways!

I'm only collecting Figuarts. and I thought about getting into the MSP, and buying just few of the scultures but thats it.
