An idea to span on the idea of the book like I said playing cards. Check out dragon ball z online. They made it into an online game. It even has downloads for mobile versions.

You can make cards and add your game. It would boost the book sells if you can get people to play. The main dbz card forum has over 2,000 members. Just saying that's over 5x the size of this forum.

Can't wait to see what kind of tournament system you used! One request, number the signed copies atleast to a certain number. Bran or you deserves the first signed copy. We all know the first of anything makes it better.

Not wanting to be a total douche - but if I spent as much time writing a book as you have, I'd have made sure to employ a professional artist to produce the cover art. After all, a book is really only as good as its cover. In fact, I would strongly suggest employing several artists. Give them no direction whatsoever and instruct them only to draw upon the imagery of the text. Some may very well turn out terrible, but then again you just might find one artwork that stands out above the rest. An artwork that gels with your story in a way you might not have been able to otherwise describe as a traditional directive. Even if it costs you thousands of dollars to do so, know it will not be squandered - as a picture is worth a thousand words and what they say about about your book is imperative to sales. Think of it as an investment. It is no small feat to do what you have done, and you owe it to yourself to have a professional looking cover. Currently, Bran's cover does your story a great disservice. While it may be everything you asked for and it may take direct visual motifs from the context, from a design and artistic viewpoint, it is weak. Bran is not an artist, therefore Bran artwork does not communicate visually in the same way an artist does. Bran's artwork lacks narrative, ergo it tells no discernable story. Yes, the story may feature sharks, eagles and wolves but is that the measure of your story? My point is this, Bran's artwork communicates in a very primitive way, whereas a professional artist can and will communicate in a more eloquent and thoughtful manor. Nuff said!

Well, on the bright side, you'll have time to think of something better to do for the rest of the summer Son Kakarot.

Unfortunately for SupremeKai, I saw what he said before he edited it, as I had just gotten on DBF to post about the figures I just won. And what he originaly said... before editing... made me roll my eyes immediately... shake my head... and ask myself "How could this fool be doing so well here for so many months, and just wake up one day and decide to try to purposely piss off the guy who doesn't put up with jerks on his forum?"

And since he expected the ban hammer, I would hate to disappoint by meeting him with an idle, meaningless threat.

He can come back at some point, but for now he's going to have a nice bit of free time on his hands now that posting here isn't going to work.

Wtf just happened? I will elaborate my opinion further in the morning when I am at a computer and have the time and patience to relay my thoughts. It'll give me a chance to calm down before then too.
