Here are some more WIP photos: The first one is the original sculpt I made but I didn't like how it fit on his neck. So I ended up sculpting a neck into it (with Chavant clay). Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the neck sculpt.. Next I made a silicone mold of the upper part of the figure and then cast a latex "mask" of it. I say mask because it is a very thin layer of balloon latex that is similar to a halloween mask (except way smaller).

This is awesome! I'm inspired to try doing a custom myself now.

Oh man, that Nappa looks just horrid. Don't waste any more time on that and throw it in your trash can, with padding. Also, totally unrelated but what is your address? I may just be in the area and looking for really bad figures that people make because I'm totally into ones that look um, bad and stuff?
Seriously though, that is an amazing custom! The removable armor is definitely not required for him, but adds so much! It's coming out beautiful!

From the neck down, he looks amazing. Seriously great! Your armor is near flawless. But his neck is a little long and the head is kinda big, which takes away from his bulky look. The side pic is the best angle for sure though. Overall, a really solid 9/10. I can see a lot of work went into this. Thanks for keeping this custom section alive. I know I haven't.

Here is pretty much the final version of (Armored and unarmored) Nappa: I'm still trying to figure out a good way to clasp the sides of his armor (can see in the 3rd picture) so it can still be easily removable.

More of Nappa: I'm thinking about adding some shading to his body but that might come later. I just got an airbrush so I'm going to practice a little with it before I make any adjustments to the figure. Hope you guys like him! cleve
