I'm almost done with BD Goku, just have to patch up some small areas on the pants and paint them a little bit (the seem a bit too yellow right now). I'm also going to leave out the blood and cuts right now because I'd like to animate him at some point (I can add the blood effects in post) but eventually I'll end up adding them. I'm thinking I can use the bare torso for a Saiyan Saga BD Goku (when he fought Vegeta). And I'm thinking about making a silicone mold of it so it will be easier to make others in the future... (this is if I can find the time!) I also made a torn blue shirt out of cloth, with some wire mesh in the shoulder areas and painted on top of with an acrylic mixture with latex (so it won't crack). I still have to work on my tailoring skills (it took me forever just to make this little ripped shirt! Kudos to anyone who can sew!) I ended up just supergluing the seams together which worked fine for the scale. I'd like to do the ripped up shirt (with one bare shoulder) next (you are right Adz, the cloth is probably the best way to go!) Here's some pics: I need to go over the shirt again because I tried putting a light layer of matte finish to cover up some of the glossyer paint, but it ended up getting a little chalky when I had to stretch it over Goku's torso. I think I might have to mix the blue acrylic with the latex again and then brush a little cornstarch on it to take away the gloss.

!!! The shirt is sweet, but that musculature!!! It's perfect! The torn pants came out really nice too. All together, the hair, the shirt, the pants, the chest. It's too good!

So here's my most recent custom, Saiyan Armor Gohan (Namek version): The base I used was a Nobi-Nobita figuarts figure. It's not exactly perfect (torso is a little wide) but the height ended up being pretty good. Plus the articulation in this figure is awesome. I made the head out of resin from a mold I did of the Burger King silver Gohan (I like his expression). The shoulder pads are from an extra Vegeta and the rest is sculpted. I also decide to put Rare Earth Magnets in the bottom of his feet so he can stick to pretty much any metal (or on your fridge? ). I'll post more pics of him soon, as well as the WIP photos. Thanks! cleve

Here are some more pics: This last one shows the height comparison to the others. (I'm working on Saiyan Armor Krillin next, hence the mutilated legs..)
