Amazing customs and energy effects dude, I've only had the courage to customise bootlegs at the moment. Once I improve and gain some confidence then I may customise some original figaurts. Right now they are just so expensive to risk ruining haha, I've recently just posted up a WIP of Goku is his outfit against Raditz after removing his weighted clothing. How do you match the colours so well to the originals and what kind of paint are you using, if you dont mind me asking?

Ah damn I haven't had time to check out this site the last few days and didn't see the listing for those stickers. If you ever get round to doing more Branjita hit me up and I'll purchase some. Much easier than trying to hand paint it on to the gi. Anyway here's an update. The creases need to be refined a bit more, wanted to try and get rid of some the creases. And I'm going to start work on the feet soon. I sanded off the blue sleeves and reattached the shoulder parts but not sure if I should keep them on. Here's the pose I've been using as reference. The belt and the symbols will be the last pieces of the puzzle then I can paint it up.

New custom. Bootleg Goku that is very loose joint wise. The sleeves keep coming off so decided to try my hand at Goku's outfit when he fights Raditz and removes his weighted clothing. Sanded off the wrist bands, sculpted more vest on and got a base down for his chest. I plan on sculpting some bare feet on the boots and the boots around the ankles will have more sculpting on them to turn into the rest of his pants. And for the belt I sliced his waist band in half and will use the spare parts for the ties.

My first ever custom is done. The whole thing has been a massive learning curve and not as easy as I thought it might be. The paint work seems to be the hardest part to it, joint rub is the bane of my life. I've got the customising bug now and hopefully I will improve as I get round to doing more. Anyway here's my custom Majin Vegeta. Hope you guys like it. Da Tong SSJ Vegeta used as a base. Sculpted in a new spike of hair, added bit of mass to his shoulders, sanded down the armor. Ideally I'd liked to have put some more chest definition in there but there's always next time.

Until they announce a Buu saga Vegeta/Majin Vegeta I'll just keep working on my custom for this outfit haha.
I'd love the Ginyu force to be released. I think they did enough during the Namek saga to warrant some decent figures of them. Plus posing them would be awesome.

I've got the AC SSJ Vegeta on pre-order, cant wait. I wasn't able to pre-order AW SSJ goku from my usual site though but as it's general release I should still manage to get one. My bank balance is going to hate me these next few months

At the moment they are just on top of a small chest of draws haha. I don't have any room to put up a shelf or get in a cabinet right now. I'll probably keep Broly and Freiza in their boxes until I get more room.

Here's what I have so far SSJ Goku is official, the others are bootlegs. I have got Broly and Frieza on the way though so can't wait to get those 2 on display. Also ordered another Da Tong SSJ Vegeta since I'm customizing my current one. I just finished off the ki aura for display purposes. Pretty crude right now and made with hot glue but it serves a purpose until I can get a proper one that's been shown with awakened SSJ Goku. Attachment Deleted

Amazing work! your Majin Vegeta inspired me to try one myself. If you don't mind me asking, what tools did you use to carve the "sinister smile" into his face?
And did you ever finish Majin Vegeta?

Hey everyone I'm new to customs, never done a custom in my life. However it's something I'd love to try. For my first project I'd really like to customize an SSJ Vegeta figuart into Majin Vegeta. I saw another forum users attempt at it and it was awesome. They sculpted in his iconic smile as well on one of the SSJ Vegeta heads. And that's my reason for asking this. Given that the head pieces are quite small and fiddly, what would be the best method of altering a figuarts face sculpt? Mainly carving into it. I've never worked on a small scale like this, always sculpted larger pieces using clay or sculpey. Is it just a case of using an X-acto knife to slowly carve the detail in, or using metal wax tools etc? Thanks people. Anyone got any tips to help me out?

I'd love the original MMPR line up, not fussed about armoured red and black, or white ranger though. I hope they do get a re-release.

Hey everyone, So glad I found a place full of like minded Dragon Ball fans! I'm Lee, 29, from the UK. Been a big DB fan for a long time now. It was first brought to my attention by 2 school friends who gave me a copy of DB GT Final Bout. Needless to say I hated it, the game was slow, unresponsive, and didn't do anything for me. And why so many Goku's? I left it at that and then a few weeks or months (not sure) I came home from school and caught an episode on tv, it was Gohan fighting Recoome on Namek. I can still remember my heart pounding with excitement at the actual fighting that was going on. Since then I was hooked and even gave Final Bout another go (and then loved it). I always found it difficult to pick up DB stuff in the UK growing up so never owned any toys or games from the show. But thanks to eBay, being an adult and making money I was able to find some figuarts and begin my collection. I wouldn't say I'm a die hard collector though, I'm quite happy to buy a decent looking bootleg than splash out hundreds for a legit figure. I currently have SSJ Goku as my only legit figuart and then I've got a bootleg Goku, Saiyan Saga Vegeta, and SSJ vegeta. I've done what lots of others seem to have done and applied the base Vegeta's head on the SSJ body and loved it so plan on buying another bootleg to display as SSJ. And after seeing an amazing Majin Vegeta custom on here using the SSJ vegeta I'm going to get another to try my hand at modding it too! So that's a little bit about me and how I got into DBZ, hope to get to know you all over time on the forums SSJGrinty
