Hey everyone! I modify Gameboys as a side job and I made a very special custom OG Gameboy for a badass named saiyen , as a thank you gift for hooking me up with holy grails and insane freebies over the years. The Le Super Saiyen Special Edition Gameboy DMG is a 1st Gen Gameboy in a translucent orange case with Dragon Ball star decal, 8 bit Goku -Ss3 Goku sprite decals, And other DBZ decals, an orange backlight in the screen, new orange screen lens, and translucent a orange buttons. Plus a custom hard shell vacuum fit case with matching decals. Ive been trying to get this out to Saiyen for months but I haven't heard from him in quite a while. I hope that he is well and hopefully he sees this so I can send it out to him! I thought it might also be worth sharing with the DBF community
@rblagarde I think you're right about Gohan and everything released after (in North America) will not have a brown shipper. I've been checking eBay constantly trying to find a US-version of Ultimate Gohan that includes the shipper, and so far I've only seen Gold sticker versions with the box.
Ah, looking back it makes sense why I never saw it, I quit my previous job around this time last year so I stopped looking due to financial troubles. I'm still gonna tell everyone not to go to Bluefin so I can buy 60+ Gokus when they go on sale and sell them all for 4x the retail price
For those of you relying on Bluefin to sell SDCC Goku at a reasonable price, you may not want to get your hopes up too high. Last year when Arlia Vegeta was released, I refused to pay over $75 (eBay prices were ~$130) immediately after the con, and insisted that Bluefin had a secret stash that would be available to the public. Long story short, it's been over a year and I still don't have SDCC Vegeta.... But then again, Tamashii has become less predictable this year, and could very well surprise us again.
eddieranger I'm seriously bummed to hear that. That was the one thing I was really worried about with A16 after seeing how they attached. Can they at least hold themselves on when not adjusting, or do they fall from their own weight?
