Seems like Vegeta is always getting the short end of the stick. (Get it, because he's short, haha! No? Okay I'll stop.) Haha, I actually thought that was funny. If the AC Vegeta was getting the crossed arms I think they would've shown him with them. After all they already have the Scouter Vegeta ones, no? That's why I doubt he'll come with them. He's just gonna come with everything the original came with. SSGSS Vegeta was posed the same without proper crossed arms. THAT I find ridiculous.

True, but Piccolo was the very first one, and he came with way more accessories. And Manga Gohan too. True, I tend to forget about them since I don't collect the manga ones! Maybe they just don't like Vegeta

The original releases I understand the lack of accessories since they were the first figures in the line AND Tamashii didn't even have faith in it to begin with. No sense in investing at that point. Now I expect no more bare bones figures. 16 will be the last one, mark my words!

Extremely grateful for tamashi for "re-releasing" an affordable vegeta. with that being said heres the only negative things: 1) only 2 faces? vegeta is one cocky MF, he needs a smirking face, a screaming face, and a regular clenching teeth face without looking to the side. 2) figuarts are supposed to be really detailed but they missed the lines on his boots. darker tones on his muscles would have made it look cool and make his muscles stand out 3) lack of accessories: no special effects? i dont think the aura comes with it, he really needs a final flash or a big bang attack. No crossed arms? vegetas trademark pose often has him crossing his arms. he really needs one. scouter vegeta's crossed arms might fit but the shading would be different. i always hated how some figuarts doesnt come with a stand. i really dont mind paying an extra 3-4 bucks just so every figuarts should come with a stand. this is why broly is my fav figuarts of all time (although awakened goku might change that), its has all of these. with that being said, its still too early, some of these could be fixed. and if not those are easy customs. still would buy like 4 of them As much as I would love for this one to come with extra stuff than the first one, it's looking like a straight up repaint, hence the lack of lines on the boots (although) they could just paint it on instead of sculpting it). I think it's simply gonna come exactly as the original did, no more, no less. If they were to include extra stuff/fixes, I'd at the very least want crossed arms and detailed boot tips. I'd welcome more faces, effects, and a stand but I honestly don't see that happening with this fig sadly

The SSJ head looks very flat and the lack of shading makes it worse and cheap looking. I display both of mine in Normal and SSJ, but the Normal one looks much better imo.

Idk, but his face does look off. I think it's his mouth. It could be a prototype so they could always fix stuff.

It's because its leaning too far back. It looks fine in the other pictures. Yeah, looking at it more, the hole is intentional. If you push his torso directly down, the hole is there to make contact with that small piece of ripped shirt sticking out. I just won't pose him in that pose and problem solved!

That hole... is sad! Can't help but think of Goku saying, "Shot through the chest and you're to blame Frieza, you give Saiyans a bad name"

That small gap looks a little weird? Everything else is perfect. And I think that's only because his torso is bent back. Edit: Damnit, I have no idea why, but whenever I enlarge an image and hit "Post" it just goes back to the original size. Sorry, I don't know why it does that. Saiyans have belly buttons higher up than humans, that's how Toriyama would explain it. Damn, once seen, cannot unsee

I think in a couple of years, my DBZ shelf might be worth more than a car Lol I think my entire collection (DBZ and everything else) can buy a decent used car currently

is there any reason you guys dont use amazon to purchase your figures? Just curious I personally stopped pre-ordering from them back when Normal Goku kept getting pushed back. There's just better places to get figures from nowadays. Amazon typically sells their stuff at retail value and lately they've been shipping their stuff out later than usual. Even if you Amazon Prime with free two day shipping, it's still usually cheaper to buy from other places and they ship just as fast AND get it before Amazon. What good is 2 day shipping if you're getting the products weeks after other stores? That's why I don't use Amazon for pre-orders at least.

If you just think they are "plastic dolls" then why do you collect them? Sure, they are technically be made of plastic, and some misinformed people do refer to them as "dolls." But to me, they are figures. Collectibles. And if some people want to spend more money on their collectibles/collection, then so be it, that's their business. Not to mention the notion of spending hundreds of dollars on figures instead of feeding yourself is ridiculous, even if it is tongue in cheek. If your income is only enough to feed yourself, then hopefully you are smart enough to not pay this much for anything other than what you need. When it comes down to purchasing something there aren't that many factors to consider, there is a) Do I want it? and b) can I afford it? And if the lines between these are blurred somewhat then I may weigh up whether or not I want something enough to pay for it. If I want it enough, I buy it, if I don't then I hold off until I have more money. I consider myself very good at managing my money. I'm a student, who works one day a week and a bit more during Uni breaks. I know a lot of people in my position who have pretty much lived from paycheck to paycheck. I have been fortunate enough to be able to live a students life and have money left over to spend on things I want and enjoy. If I spend a bit more than usual any given week I just make sure I do the work and save to earn it back, it's simple. Others obviously may not be this fortunate, totally understandable. The bottom line is, paying the money I have for my collection has not negatively impacted my life in any way. Very well said. How someone chooses to spend their money is up to them. If anything, collecting has positively impacted me. It's fun collecting, hunting down figures, and receiving a new package at your doorstep. If it weren't for collecting, we wouldn't be a part of this great online community too. Some of us invest more in our collection than others. Still don't understand why? Oh well, don't really care
