...unfortunately doesn't look like there is any interest outside of Japan in this forum for the vintage figures

Hi guys! I'm a big enthusiast of 80's-90's Dragon Ball toys, especially the stuff that was released in Japan. There may have been older threads with such focus, but I wanted to breath some life into the topic.
In this thread I would love to see what some of you guys have accumulated over the years from Japan (pre-2000) and share your collections and knowledge!
This would also be a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the ORIGINAL toy lines that started it all, from other knowledgeable collectors.
To kick off the thread, I'm going to share a few of my favorite (non SBC) pieces in my current collection.

Hi guys! I am currently working on a massive book containing photos and info on as many rare and vintage Dragon Ball related toys as I can possibly find. We have already begun shooting many photographs of the items that I already have in my personal collection. Now I am putting out a call to anyone with an extensive vintage DB collection (action figures, games, other toys) to help out by submitting photos and information. Recently I created a private TEAM page for the project on Facebook where collectors who want to participate can join and share their ideas and collection. If this is something that you or someone you know would be interested in, please JOIN THE TEAM. Cheers!! -Jeremy / Author & Project Coordinator

I went to McDonalds roughly 10 times here in Tokyo to get a complete set of them, plus several for my kids. Still have a couple left over if anyone needs any

Hi guys. I picked these two DBZ figures last year from sellers in Europe on Ebay. I wasn't familiar with them, but absolutely loved how unique they looked. I live in Japan and am familiar with all of the vintage toys produced here, but I've never seen these before - I don't think they are AB Toys, are they? The carded Vegeta is from HASCHEL TOYS - which I have never heard of and am having trouble finding info about online. If you have any information about them or where they were produced, please let me know.
Additionally, I found a Goku made by HASCHEL TOYS on a generic Irwin blister card, currently priced at $130+ on Amazon.com www.amazon.com/Dragonball-GOKU-CLASSIC-Action-Figure/dp/B019L4B8JM/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1491042889&sr=1-1Cheers!!

Howdy guys, I'm new to this forum but I've been a collector of DBZ toys for nearly 20 years. I run a website called TOKYO TOY BASTARD that covers various vintage toy lines and odd things from Japan (among other countries). I've lived in Tokyo for over 10 years and wanted to share how DBZ basically caused me to end up here, and my collecting experiences along the way. WARNING: This article contains a lot of F-bombs and is intended for older collectors with a darker sense of humor. However, the article is factual and personal. Enjoy!! DO BASTARDS DREAM OF DRAGONBALL Z?tokyotoybastard.blogspot.jp/2017/03/do-bastards-dream-of-dragonball-z.htmlLet me know what you think in the comments and if there is anything you'd like to see me cover in the future. Cheers! Jeremy / TOKYO TOY BASTARD
