Thank you, @redstar77! Man, I'm not sure who to pick. They have some really good choices and certain characters that are usually never made into any type of figure. Although, I'm on a huge Resurrection F high.  |

I think the only character that was able to get away with the same hair sculpt but different colors was Vegito. It would be disappointing to see the same hair sculpt but different colors with normal Vegeta and SSGSS Vegeta. ESPECIALLY after seeing what they did with Goku. They added more locks of hair, striations, and a upper flow feel to it. Vegeta deserves that same treatment. If not the added locks of hair but the detailed striations and the upper flow feel. Look how well these two go together with one another. Tamashii could get that same feeling from every collector if they do the same.  |

SSGSS Goku is now unavailable on amazon! He's been available for pre-order since May. I'm sure once they get their orders and inventory sorted and sent out, they'll have more available for purchase. It happened to Vegito and Android 16. That Tamashii is being lazy with the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta head sculpt? Yes. |

I received Bardock and Super Saiyan Goku today in the mail. WOW! Unbelievable figures. The detail is insanely beautiful! I'm so glad I bought these. I couldn't help but stare at them for awhile.
They were actually me first 2 SCulture purchases. It seems this line is very inconsistent with the scale with one another. Is that true throughout the entire line or just from series-to-series?
I'm really interested to see how the Golden Frieza and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku will look. If they're anything close to Bardock and Super Saiyan Goku, I'm definitely going to purchase them.
Edited: I looked it up on the Banpresto webpage. They seem to be grouped together by two in size rather than the series. I don't think I'll purchase the other two sets of Nappa/Raditz and Semi-Perfect Cell/Super Vegeta.

December can't come any quicker! October can't come any quicker. I'm going to be spoiled for the rest of the year and the beginning of next with all of these releases. (Earlier actually with Figuarts Zero.) I'm on a DBZ high and I hope I never come down from it. |

Absolutely! I know a few people weren't that satisfied with Goku's new hair sculpt but I believe a lot more people, including myself, would have been extremely disappointed if they just repainted Super Saiyan Goku's head blue. Goku and Vegeta are in the exact same movie so there's no reason why they shouldn't have similar detail and coloring. Super Vegeta had some noticeable striations and detail but, other than that, I agree that the hair sculpts should reflect the change in art style. They have been doing a great job. It's just Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta that stands out. (Super Saiyan 4 Goku's hair was majestic.) I feel like now more than ever, we'll be getting less cheap retools and more unique molds. I'm sure they'll reuse whatever they can, it'd be silly if they didn't, but they tend to be going a more accurate route judging by the latest releases. They're taking more risks and giving us really great molds (just look at the beauty that is Awakened Goku). I just hope they don't cheap out on Vegeta's hair, it's in dire need of an update. Btw, EVERYTHING about SSJ4 Goku was majestic  I'm really hoping that the Awakened Goku will open the doors for more battle damaged releases. Especially characters, specifically Piccolo, that need upgrading and added accessories. (We demand more faces!) Also, if there are going to be more releases of characters and different versions, Namek Vegeta for example, maybe we can get all new faces with them rather than the previous faces. I'm just truly hoping Tamashii KNOWS how popular this line is becoming and they're motivated to give us the best product. So far, it seems like they do. They just need to keep the momentum going. ...I honestly can't argue with that. I was looking at it last night and I couldn't believe how spectacular it looked. The only TWO things I want changed now are his hip joints and shoulders similar to Awakened Goku. I think those two additions/retools would make the figure absolute perfection. |

They've gotta update Vegeta's hair sculpt. Goku got that treatment so why shouldn't Vegeta. It'll just look odd with the rest especially considering that Vegito has the same striated and detailed hair as well (let's not talk about the coloring, cuz they screwed up real bad there). I think they should keep the old hair sculpts for Goku/Vegeta for Cell Saga and below and have new ones for Buu Saga and up. It'll reflect the change in art style perfectly and it'd be strange to have a prior saga having better hair than a later saga. Absolutely! Pretty sure they'll update the hair just like they did for Goku. Would suck if they didn't. We'll just have to wait until we see a release date and the official pictures. I hope so. It would seem very strange if they didn't and very annoying to see them side-by-side. I would imagine they could use the same updated sculpt for a Buu Saga/Majin Vegeta release as well. Yeah, we still have ways to go until we get those official pictures and release date. Maybe around the time of NYCC/Tamashii Nations 2015. That's when Vegito was "corrected," I believe. For all those who are wanting Golden Frieza S.H. Figuarts I have given up my preorder for reasons I don't wish to explain so if anyone wants it I just wanted to let you know this. Sorry to hear that. Where did you pre-order that will open up orders? |

Does anybody else hope Tamashii decides to update SSGSS Vegeta's head sculpt similar to SSGSS Goku, whose head sculpt I believe is amazingly well done, because is it me or is it just a repainted Super Saiyan head/face? I would understand that happening simply for the prototype but I really hope that's not the finished product.  |

The reason I asked was because I had heard awhile back the figure has been delayed and I have already put in my preorder on the figure, prepaid it, so naturally I was curious if the date had changed or not because I hadn't heard anything more about it and this forum always has latest news on it about various S.H. Figuarts figures so I didn't think it would hurt to ask. Tamashii hasn't changed their schedule on their website so the September release should still be happening. I know there's been rumors or articles that say Ultimate Gohan will be released later but I haven't heard any actual confirmation from Tamashii or Bluefin. |

really hope this is a shot of the production figure. It looks so much better with the orange gi. Now they just need to update the SSGSS Vegeta with the same exact paint application used on the hair. They need to update Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta's head sculpt before they apply the exact same paint. This isn't an official picture but if they changed the sculpt to this it would look great next to Tamashii's Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku... (Sorry for the big picture.)
