They also articulated the "bangs" that hang on his shoulders, changed the belt-sash, and replaced the shoulders. So he's gone through quite the upgrade. Let's hope Tamashii Nations has continued the upgrades for his next appearance.

I'm looking forward to the Super Saiyan 3 Goku powering up the Kamehameha. The leg positioning is strange but everything else looks really good. I'm scared for that one now...seeing the quality in the last two Goku figures in this series...I feel that one is just going to be terrible now. I am, too. I think it will be alright though. I wasn't a fan of the other Super Saiyan 3 Goku and the straight standing Super Saiyan 2 Goku from the get-go. I thought the other Super Saiyan 2 Goku turned out alright but I haven't seen it in person.

Maybe they oushed the ssj4 goku back because they are giving him the same hip joints. As said before, Goku is their best sellimg character thus theyre updating it because they want to make as much profit as they can. I would really hope for Tamashii Nations to give Super Saiyan 4 Goku the newer hip joints but it's doubtful. Am I the only one that wants super saiyan god goku shown in tamashii nations event? Nope, I'm actually looking forward to his announcement and I thought the transformation was horrible for awhile. The fight in Dragon Ball Super changed my mind so I think it would be the ideal time to release Super Saiyan God Goku to go along with Beerus.

I don't see that connection. If anything, the Resurrection F and Dragon Ball Super designs/releases pushed Tamashii Nation's original plans, which appeared to be Buu Saga focused, back. Super Saiyan 4 Goku is a guaranteed sell and has been shown to receive upgrades since its 2014 reveal. Android 16's sales more than likely gave Tamashii Nations the reason not to focus on less popular, supporting characters for awhile. Less popular, supporting characters is what i'm getting at. I mean don't get me wrong, I know in the fandom SSJ 4 Goku is huge, but honestly, I don't know if GT has quite as many fans as the original series does. If it was all because of RoF and Super, then why are Tamashii giving us a new SSJ Trunks and Vegeta figures. There is no current story arc hype supporting these choices. They are simply reverting back to the characters that they know sell well, which I believe was in part a result of 16, Vegetto and Gohan's poor sales. Everybody knows that GT isn't anywhere near as popular as the canon series but any sort of Goku release are the best selling releases for Tamashii Nations. They're completely separated releases from Tamashii Nations' focus. They were going to release the 2.0 design/articulation of the Top 3 Saiyans (and possibly more) in the series whether the Buu Saga continued or Resurrection F and Dragon Ball Super took over.

Yeah, I find it really strange. I mean, he was a perfectly good figure! He ticked all the boxes he needed to. I guess A16 himself is not too popular? Which makes me worry as to whether we'd ever see a different form Cell, as Android 16 is actually a very popular and iconic character. It's success probably even impacted on Tamashii's decision to hold on the Buu's and SSJ4 Goku.I don't see that connection. It's actually a "mold" of the S.H. Figuarts Future Trunks. There's a close up picture of it and it's the exact same mold of Future Trunks but it's one piece.

That's true but they're not going to limit themselves on Goku releases. Frieza Saga Goku is still a highly demanded release that Tamashii Nations can capitalize on. Speaking of Kid Goku, thekrillmaster , apparently he's going through some upgrades. Unless he's announced before, I'm expecting to see those updates in October at Tamashii Natiions 2016. Well I guess time will tell. But I would much rather see SS4, god, kid, and even black goku before it though. Oh yeah, I would too. I feel Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan God Goku have been ready to be officially announced since October of last year. I'm glad to hear the rumors about Kid Goku receiving upgrades. Black Goku's prototype is more than likely being worked on as we speak and will hopefully be revealed at Tamashii Nations 2016.

I was about to say SSj4 in place of Kid Goku. He's had multiple upgrades so it's only a matter of time when they officially announce Super Saiyan 4 Goku's release. I keep checking the Shonen Jump Calendar every 1st of the month hoping to see him listed.

Why would you doubt another Goku release when he's Tamashii Nations' best seller? You're questioning restrictions that aren't even in place for them. I doubt it because tamashii has plenty other gokus that they can do lol That's true but they're not going to limit themselves on Goku releases. There's nothing stopping Tamashii Nations from releasing a Frieza Saga Goku web exclusive in manga colors. It's going to happen and, if they knew when best to capitalize, it would be the perfect release to go along with their Premium Color Final Form Frieza. Even though its possible, I really doubt that will happen. I think they're more likely to release a premium color of the normal goku possibly with the symbols making it a BoG/DBSuper version similar to the pc Vegeta. If they really were to release a manga version of it, then that would technically make the SDCC version a new figure which hasn't happened yet. Also if the SDCC ex was supposed to be the anime version of a future manga colors release, it would've been labeled "Special Colors Edition" like all the others instead of "Frieza Saga Ver." What would the manga version even be called? That one should've been the "Frieza Saga Ver", but its kind of too late for that now. Honestly I believe Tamashii screwed up and didn't think it would be as popular as it turned out to be. His later outfit has always been more iconic to me and I didn't really buy into the hype with last year's sdcc exclusive, so maybe Tamashii thought the same thing. Why would you doubt another Goku release when he's Tamashii Nations' best seller? You're questioning restrictions that aren't even in place for them.

You've come to that conclusion over an SDCC Exclusive recolor that Bluefin themselves submitted? I doubt tamashii gave them much of a choice. They probably refused to do ss3 goku, cell, namek armor vegeta, or even krillin because they realized they could make more money releasing them as premium colors instead. They probably even regret doing last year's sdcc goku. There's nothing stopping Tamashii Nations from releasing a Frieza Saga Goku web exclusive in manga colors. From the video its obvious the figure rise standard improved on the death ball and death beam for frieza. KID BUU IS THE 3rd release after Cell yeah definitely can't wait for these figures. Also I'm thankful that they don't seem to be holding out on villains with Frieza, Cell, and Kid Buu releasing. I like how they're including them in the first 3 series. The only release that seems "out of place" is Super Saiyan Goku and that's only because of his attire. Other than that, the pairing is really well done. That space pod looks like its holding a S.H. Figuart Scouter Vegeta, if so I'm buying like 3. It's holding a Figure-Rise Standard Scouter Vegeta which should be in the same scale with the S.H. Figuarts Scouter Vegeta. That looks like shfiguarts trunks That's because it is.

You've come to that conclusion over an SDCC Exclusive recolor that Bluefin themselves submitted? If you feel that way, don't purchase their products. I'll continue to purchase what I like. Thanks. Just because I enjoy the line doesn't mean that it doesn't have its problems. Tamashii has total disregard for the customers and I'll stand by that. The reason they are able to treat the customers like they do is because they make top quality figures... Just the same thing over and over again. Total disregard? You shouldn't interpret a few consumers "not getting their way" as lack of attention. Tamashii Nations' Dragon Ball Z Character Categories are bigger than they ever have been and continue to grow. It's not Tamashii's fault if certain consumers have no patience.

Tamashii must think that the collector's of this line are the most stupid customers of the planet. You've come to that conclusion over an SDCC Exclusive recolor that Bluefin themselves submitted? Tamashii must think that the collector's of this line are the most stupid customers of the planet. Considering how they just dooped tons of people into buying PC Trunks and Vegeta (simple recolors) only to turn around and release super Vegeta & trunks I'd say you're absolutely right. Hoardes of fans keep begging for ss4 Goku, Nappa, Tien, Yamcha...etc only to get slightly different versions of the four main characters over and over again. They don't respect their customers to whatsoever. If you feel that way, don't purchase their products.

The picture showing Broly with the Bluefin logo is a fake, some fan created it to show his/her assumption oh how it will look like. That's what the description says in Spanish. Its from another toy/figure forum based in Mexico. The one with the "confidential" watermark has very green hair. It may also be photoshopped so we'll have to wait for official photos. Either way, if the hair is that green, the accuracy will be that of the most recent design/animation. If it's a lighter green, it will be more accurate to the film.
