I wonder if they'll re-issue Domon with Master Asia's release? They also need to release Allenby and Rain! I'm very pessimistic about their chances since it took this long for Master Asia to come out but I'd love to have those two. I'm really hoping the upcoming Robot Damashii God and Master Gundams generate enough sales to encourage further G Gundam releases. |

just trying to help you out. One other thing you might check, maybe the joints have different plastic. I know the normal Goku has strange light neon orange joints, if the joints on this Goku are darker maybe it means something.

It looks like it could be a part swapped version of Goku. It would be very easy to get a figure that looks like this, you would just need to add a super saiyan head to the normal Goku body and then repaint the wristbands and the sash purple. I've actually been working on a custom just like this, I noticed how close the gi on normal Goku is to the gi on SDCC Goku and decided to make my own variant. I imagine that's what's going on here as well. If not it's a very interesting figure.
one major giveaway may be the skin. If all the skin below the neck is painted but the faces are unpainted glossy plastic it may very well be a custom.

very nice to see that BK Gohan head repainted. maybe I've seen it before, maybe not...I'm taking this as the first time and it looks awesome.
Very nice work on the Goku, I was anticipating that one since the WIP was posted.

Never liked that head and I was always tempted to say you should swap it. didn't see much point, it always seemed too late or I figured you didn't have any other heads in mind. now...wow...it looks completely different. Very nice

They used a Gundam marker. blog.gundamplanet.com/gundam/how-to-paint-gundam-marker-vol-01-ink-drawing-paint/this may not be a viable solution for lines around eyes but I still want to bring it up, I've been looking into a very interesting method for adding paint to extremely small spaces called pin washing. I don't think you need any specific paint, you may be able to just add a few drops of water to whatever paint you already use and do the method multiple times. |

Sometime in 2012 I caught an eBay listing with a picture of the SS Vegeta and nothing else, no pic of the box, the figure, just a stock image...but it was priced at $25. I took the risk and bought it and was amazed when I found an SS Vegeta in the mail a week later. I still have the first pic I took of it.  |
