Figure collecting is a menace I swear! I started slow in 2005 with Max Factory Bio Booster Armor Guyver and Kaiyodo Fist of the North Star figures. Then a few years later we had Medicos Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Medicom 1/6 Real Action Heroes DBZ. By 2010, I must have had around 30 figures, but when we moved house I started on 1/8 One Piece Portrait of Pirates. I've collected 80+ of those figures alone over the years and turned one half of our attic into a displayroom!! Since then with S.H.Figuarts/Figuarts ZERO (DB/OP/Kinnikuman, etc.), Figmas, SAS, I must have 200+ figures, and don't get me started on DWC/WCF!! I started with those last year and already have over 100!! The game plan now is to do an attic conversion and put an office/display room and separate bedroom up them so I can display everything properly!! I used to *hate* action-figures, had some statues from game collector's editions over the years but I'd always found articulated figures cheap looking. Then one random day re-watching DBZ for some reason I decided I wanted a Gohan statue but I couldn't find anything. Eventually a friend mentioned a small shop in the city for me to check and they had just got in the old SHF Super Saiyan Gohan. I haven't bought a statue since, instead I'm struggling to find space for all the Figuarts, Figma and even odd Revoltech that I keep buying :/ On another note, do we think that the December release in Japan will be the Goku figure from the new movie? I think that pic was just a promo image (not an actual release) as it seemed identical to the upcoming Goku with the only difference being his power pole. With that said I wouldn't be surprised to get a December or even Jan/Feb release related to the film, either the villain or a Goku/Vegeta figure with the coats/jackets that were shown off the other day, assuming they wear them for more than 10 seconds. I doubt they'd just re-release the July Goku six months later with a red bit of plastic added though.

Wonder if they'll show us any prototypes during SDCC or The DB Tour. Hoping for a Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku

Wonder if they'll show us any prototypes during SDCC or The DB Tour. Hoping for a Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku I would really like for them to knock out some of the more popular Super characters and forms. UI Goku is an obvious choice but I would like to see Hit, Zamasu (Merged), Jiren, and 17. There are several others I wouldn't mind having but those specifically are musts.

And the scale comparison is finally revealed. Plus the new Goku is looking super shiny, just like Majin Vegeta. Is this going to be a thing now??

It'll take some serious forced perspective to make that look right, just like the promo pic they did with them...

Eh I think people take the scale thing too seriously
Rather have a more accurate, detailed and articulated figure than have a smaller less quality one

I don't mind a great deal as I will be displaying my Roshi and Kid Goku separate to the rest of the collection. They are from 2 different continuums, so I don't feel they should be placed together anyway.
I'm more concerned about all these shiny finishes. I'm hoping Majin Buu comes out looking nice in August! Really can't wait for that release now!

I'll just have to leave him seated in my display. And yeah, Tamashii is sh*ting about painting with most 2.0 releases. They update the articulations and drop the ball on painting, yet they raise the price like it was an overall update (with exception of this Goku that is cheaper.) Other thing is, Goku's chin is too small, it looks weird.

It's sad to see what has happened to the Majin Vegeta figure. It should have had it's own unique one of a kind head sculpt that captured Vegetas unchained aggression(one of the best forms of Vegeta that had such an amazing teary(to me) sacrifice scene) and a better paint job(including shading). I hope SHFiguarts does justice to this figure(for all you Vegeta fans) in a battle damaged Majin Vegeta figure IF they ever decide to release one. I would be happy.
As for the goofy yet serious Goku, I think this is the best looking action figure of him.
1:51 To be able to pull the pose and still look good, I'm impressed.

And there you have it folks. I'm 99% certain that SH Figuarts DB Kid Krillin will be our December release, bringing 2018 to a close I'm sure confirmation will come via the Shonen Jump Calendar on Monday. Well that's 4 DB releases down, 3 to go (for the 7 balls). I wonder what 2019 will hold!! We've got Heroes starting next week, so I expect we'll be seeing a SSJ4 Goku figuarts make a reappearance soon!!
