S.H.Figuarts Upcoming Releases

Sdcc has been full of great reveals, and I can't say I'm not excited for the figuarts DBZ, but I really think we need to fill out the major protagonists and antagonists before we offshoot to the movie characters and minor characters. I mean, I love the broly and vegito, but they aren't necessary for any collection. If (shenron forbid!) the figuarts line is canceled after all announced releases, who are we gona display vegito with? There's no buu! It's not even as if we can put him between vegeta and goku as vegeta isn't buu saga version!

I don't know what more we need to do to get the main characters made? A petition? In all seriousness, how many people would be down signing a petition for yamcha, tien, kid buu, goten, kid trunks, adult gohan, raditz and nappa to be prioritised?

I think Nappa is made a little too large, particularly in width. I just squished the entire pic to change it a little bit. I honestly think the prototype scales pretty well with Vegeta though, because once he took off his armor, all of a sudden he was a mountain of a man.

Are you saying that I didn't resize the Vegeta/Nappa picture small enough? That may be true. I just quickly did it and based it on making Vegeta's head about the same size as SS Goku's. I didn't spend 10 minutes checking the scale, I spent 30 seconds

@m5jagdragonpanzeriv, I agree I was wrong about Nappa being bigger than Broly. But regardless, he is still way too big. SHF Vegeta may be oversized... But only in height. He's too tall. Mass-wize, though, he's pretty much fine. The problem with Nappa is he's scaled to Vegeta's HEIGHT, not his width/mass. Nappa is proportioned just fine. He just needs to be scaled down so that their masses match. Nappa is not taller than Android 16 in the show, and barely taller than Piccolo. As things are, he'll dwarf them all.

I'm not a scale nazi... I really wouldn't care that much about his size being so precise... But Tamashii insists they couldn't release him because he's such a big character and he'd be too expensive. But the thing is, they made him way too damn big. If they made him smaller like he should be, they wouldn't have to worry about any of these problems.

I just checked the A-kon thread, dragonballfigures.boards.net/thread/971/kon-dallas?page=2 and either my mention of Nappa was one of the things Bandai Japan requested be removed, or I said it somewhere else, that I cannot find. I think I said it somewhere else, but I don't see it in a search. Anyway... I was told at A-kon that the Nappa figure (bare chested) was completely canceled. The prototype was in Japan and they would not be making that figure.

Whether they make another one or not is questionable, but the one you see in photos will not be made.

I hope they make another one in armor. If he's a little bit smaller, I would be happy. If he's the same size, I'd still be happy. I'd prefer he be a bit smaller. The height doesn't bother me, but the width of everything does. When he is shown in armor, his arms and legs aren't that big.

If they don't make Nappa at all... I will be horribly sad. Not having Nappa is the only reason I haven't already opened my Figuarts Vegeta. I have nobody to pose him with, and I need Nappa made!

I agree. It seems like a lot of people are wanting these specific characters lately on here, facebook, and sideshow:

Nappa, Raditz, Tien, Yamcha, Super Buu, Majin Vegeta

Hopefully Tamashii will get them all made soon. I'd really like some Saibamen and a kid Gohan if they ever make Nappa, Yamcha, and Tien (with Chaozu).

I wish they would wait to produce the Buu Saga characters until Buu Saga is on TV in the US. Them showing off Vegetto/Vegito at SDCC surprised me, because I didn't expect him at all! I was expecting several other characters, just like most of you guys were.

Quick question! What happens to nappa and that shenron that they displayed at Comic Con?
