That sucks. At least we still get some nice effects, paint apps and sculpt. I get that the scale is off, but I think the positives outweigh the negatives here.

For anyone interested, seller seemunkey123 on eBay just put up the Frieza 2.0 for $80 but accepted my offer for $72 shipped
Only $10 more than you’d be paying from BBTS
Def a good price for people that have missed out on intial pre-orders and don’t wanna risk it anywhere else

And S.H.Figuarts Shenron for $85 is a damn good deal.

Damn, after all this Black hype, I finally caved. I had no interest in the figure, but all I hear is praise for it, so curiosity got the best of me. For those in the UK, I recently ordered from Forbidden Planet for £54.99 (free shipping) ($70) and they just started shipping them out. theyre reliable but I wouldn’t buy from their site directly I always buy from their eBay store. They do a better job running that than they’re actual site plus communication is way better The only issue I've ever had with Toyz is reward points. Sometimes I have to email them to remind them to add my points, which they've always done. Besides that, I've never had an issue with them. There's two or three sellers on Ebay that get figures maybe two or three weeks before Toyz does, but obviously with some of these selling out, waiting for it on Ebay is a risk, and these sellers don't do pre-orders.
I've never been screwed on there, unlike the scum on Anime-Island. Screwed me out of $100 a few months back. Too much time passed and Paypal couldn't get me my money back. Ridiculous
Yeah Toyz in the box, BBTS, eknightmedia, and the preorders from the guys on facebook like toyco and ageless geeks are the best place. Amazon and Gamestop are iffy with their preorders. I lost 100 to those **cks at anime island as well. Can't believe they just skipped town like that with no warning. But I'm luckier than some who lost hundreds or thousands. And the shortage of dragon ball is rumored to be because tamashii is focusing on producing lots of marvel infinity war figuarts. Let's hope frieza gets a restock since he's a regular release. As for the web exclusives preorder fast because no telling how short on stock they will get. And let's hope they produce enough of their upcoming con exclusives to provide for 7 locations. That could be a disaster in the making if they underestimate demand. |

It’s hard to determine and it’s especially risky to wait that long. One thing to consider is the limit per person. Is there one? Scalpers will surely be in attendance the first day. |
