LIIIIIIT. I don't think he'll come with the accessories that the other did, but this is still very pleasing. Now time to be a pessimist. I think he's going to be taller for his 2.0 figure which is kind of okay, since the newer figures have been taller, but now it's going to drive me crazy that his Golden form is shorter than his Final Form. It already kinda weirded me out that his Gold figure was the same size as his original final form Freeza lol

I'm not expecting much other than a few little upgrades to the older mold.

I'm not expecting much other than a few little upgrades to the older mold. Well we already now it's an updated sculpt with the death beam effect instead of the death ball from the previous one. Personally I think it's worth the double dip for those who own the original. Unlike Cell, which I didn't feel offered anything new for the price. It's priced a little less than Goku Kid Ver. so should be able to find it for around $40 for pre-order.

I wouldn't consider this an updated sculpt when there's very minor alterations. 90(+)% of the body appears to be the same sculpt as the older release. Tamashii saw an easy way out by re-releasing the older mold for newer collectors while making a few new alterations to intrigue older collectors. I'm sure the final product will be great but a true updated sculpt would have been the best alternative. Edited: I could be proven wrong once more photos and comparisons are released and I truly hope that to be the case.

Oh Wow! Now that's a shocker! I honestly didn't think we'd see anymore DB stuff beyond Kid Goku, but seems I was wrong.
This opens up a whole new realm of possibility! Make we want to rewatch the original DB! It's been so long!

It sucks they’re a larger scale than the rest of the line but damn does Roshi look on point. Have a feeling the next DB release after him will either be Kid Krillin or Bulma

Nice! Happy for those who didn't have the chance to get the OG release, and also happy for my wallet, which will get a break lol
Surprised to see Master Roshi, really need him in my collection. He needs some modifications to be on point, but it's just the first proto anyway. I was in doubt if they would release him in DBSuper clothes, but this is the most iconic look, great choice.
Picollo Daimaoh would be a nice add to the collection.. just sayian'

That's a good news, but i think we should keep in mind that displaying a new figure doesn't mean we gonna have it. Majin Vegeta and Gotenks have been known for a while, but Black Goku came after them and is now released. I'll only be glad when the preorder will be on.
Anyway, Muten Roshi and Kid Goku need more other DB characters to fit with them.

If I’m not mistaken the only figures that have been recently displayed that don’t have release dates are only Majin and Gotenks. They’ll come out for sure, it’s just that there are factors that we may not know of that are delaying them. Perhaps they’re still working on them due to feedback. They’ve had a good track record lately of releasing prototypes. It’s not like it was before, they’ve clearly learned from their mistakes

So we know officially that this is not a PC Frieza. Upgraded mold “reserection” name, likely based off the DB Super era.
