Cool news, especially to notice that the balls can be separated from Shenron! But my point is: will they make some Dragon Ball era characters to display with kid Goku? Can it? I thought Kid Goku is gonna come with a four star dragon ball. Either way, that Kid Goku figure is sick. Tamashii is really releasing some of my most wanted figures. The lineup, besides SSG Goku is insane. Nappa, SS3 Goku, Shenron, Tien, Yamcha, Kid Goku. Wow! That Shenron looks smaller than I thought it would be, but still cool. I have to try to find some mini DBZ figures to use. There has to be some tiny 1-2" flea market caliber figures that exist. |

wow its cool and all that were getting all these figures, but still mostly saiyans sigh... more non saiyans characters would be awesome. yeah yeah i get it saiyans sell...
saiyan saga tien can just be painted on or at least easily customized to have purple pants to match kid goku during tien arc in dragon ball. yamcha needs a new hair mold though,
and speaking of which, with tien and yamcha being saiyan sagas, saiyan saga krillin might get a consideration.

After he actually comes out, I could see a dragonball purple-pants variant Tien being an easy SDCC exclusive down the line. Really though, I know for me the biggest DB character I want outside of Kid Goku himself is King Piccolo. There's certainly other noteworthy DB specific additions (Roshi/Jackie Chun, Krillin, Lunch, Master Shen, Taopaipai, etc) but Demon King Piccolo is easily the most iconic villain of the original series, and one I'd love to see paired with this Goku down the line. |

I've always said Taopaipai would be a great figure. He could come with both normal and cyborg heads and hands, a sword accessory, cannon hand and if they want to go all in then even the pillar to stand on.

By the way, does anyone know when Kaïoken Goku would be for sale? Cause he's been announced for long and still nothing. Hey olly and welcome. To answer your question on Kaio-ken Goku, that figure is in fact an event exclusive item. They usually release 1 each year for SDCC, but in recent years they've also had this as the Mexico and now as a 'World Tour' exclusive. I'm not entirely up on the best avenues to get these, but they typically won't appear as standard pre-orders as they are sold at the event and very limited quantities are available online. You quite often find the price tag will sky rocket after the event. By default it shows in Yen, not Dollars. |
