Very true. Shenron, Porunga, Oozaru, Hildegarn, etc could all be monster arts if they ever make them, but monster arts just means monsters, so Broly, Nappa, Android 16, etc won't be monster arts.
It will be interesting to see how big they make 16. It's been awhile, but he really didn't dwarf perfect cell much in the series I don't think, so I bet he won't be much bigger than him I bet.

That's the problem. 16 is one of those lesser characters that is really scaled to those who surround him more often than not. There are times where he's not much bigger than Cell at the Cell Games, and yet he was almost the same size as the other forms when he was fighting Imperfect and Semiperfect Cell. (Note that this is based only off the manga). |

yeah, agreed on the monster arts things. If they are making a broly and 16 though super buu is a possibility. broly is bigger than buu.

I didn't know name changes were possible on here. Perhaps your sig should say "formerly The Devil's Corpse" so people know who you are, because I was like "who the heck is this?" lol. Based on pics I've taken while watching the show and reading the manga, I believe you have Imperfect Cell slightly too tall, because in the anime when he and Piccolo are back to back, Cell's chin was at the level of Piccolo's mid-eye and you have his chin at Piccolo's lower forehead, just below his turban.  I don't have any pics (I don't think) from the episode where 16 and Imperfect Cell fight, but if I remember correctly, Android 16 was basically level with Imperfect Cell. His shoulders were higher, and he was technically taller if you don't include Cell's headgear and only go by the height of the back of his orange head. I'd have to rewatch the episode and take pics to say anything about this with certainty though, because these pics are inconclusive.   I think with that small discrepancy with Imperfect Cell's height, if you decreased the size of 16 and Semiperfect Cell the same amount, you'd be closer to their heights as I see them. Here's a scene I imagine Toriyama drew, and it has 16 behind Piccolo, but it isn't too useful, because shots like this never are. The level of where the feet are on the ground and perspective always messes things up. Vegeta is also drawn too tall, and is taller than Trunks, who he is on the same level with. No, I'm trying not to announce the change for a reason. There are issues at hand... Like I said, the image is based off the manga. I don't really care about what the anime does for shots unless they are anime exclusive characters, because there are a lot of times where they completely alter character proportions and angles due to the many different animators. For the above group shot, I compared most of the usable panels from that portion of the manga, the relevant title pages, and then the most relevant character to character comparisons since if you try to scale one character to everyone he stands next to, you're going to have a hard time finding any consistency. - Imperfect Cell's height mostly comes from when he and Piccolo first meet in Ginger Town, when Cell tries to absorb Piccolo up in the sky, where Cell picks up Piccolo to blast his chest after fighting 17and then when he finally absorbs 17.
- Semiperfect Cell is based of his typically giant size compared to Vegeta.
- 16 is based off his height compared to 17 and 18 (first image in your collage), with 17's scale sliiightly altered for perspective when bringing him to 16's level and then scaling everyone so that the twins are scaled appropriately to Goku and Vegeta.

I have to say, I really like the look of the androids. I wish these weren't getting so expensive. I would keep collecting, but gohan is going for so much!

You could get the Bandai Hybrid Gohan instead. It's a lot smaller at about 4.5 inch scale, but figuarts Gohan is bigger than the 5.5 inch scale most of the figuarts are kind of at, so you might be happier with a Gohan that is smaller rather than one that is tall enough to be 15 or 16 years old instead of 11. It's highly articulated.

The only major problem is that im very anal about my collecting. If I have a collection, hey have to be from the same company and of the same type of figure. I know sounds weird, but it bothers me when I mix two types of collections

I've never heard of that Gohan. I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the info, man!! Here's a pic. He's a pretty small, but the Figuarts Gohan is kind of big for the age he is supposed to be. iami2eapei2 might be interested to see this, because he'd be a good size for a Saiyan Saga/Namek Saga Gohan custom figure. The Figuarts one is a better figure, but at least this one is half the price. I don't own the Figuarts one either, so I can't show you a comparison of the two.  |

That hybrid gohan is pretty cool, I've been thinking about trying to get a kid gohan (shaggy hair or bowl cut) head and trying to mod it into the figuarts body for an android and cell saga gohan all in one. Anyone have any recommendations on where to start, I was thinkin about trying to pick an irwin or jakks one up but I have no knowledge of any other line that could work?
