So Nappa won't be available at BBTS? How much is shipping at Nippon Yasan? Yes, all US retailers will receive him for purchase (while supplies last). I like the confidence of that last comment. I really do hope he'll be a great seller among the collectors. I will troll shonen again tonight....will post what I read!! Hopefully good news! September seems far out but it's always a possibility for an update! |

Shonen just updated......no new announcements for SH figuarts. I get a feeling the next one won't be until after the xenoverse guys release.

Do you guys think that Tamashii would provide a rather small number of Nappa's and Vegeta's ? Or just the opposite because they know the demand for the two?
Just trying to figure out if I have to preorder ASAP or if I can wait till more shops have them in for PO.

Snagged one from CDJAPAN and waiting on Nippon Yasan as they usually have the best prices.

(That's only from Japan retailers, too.) They compliment one another so I imagine most people who buy Scouter Vegeta 2.0 will want to also purchase Nappa. It's always best to pre-order so you have a guaranteed product though. Nappa, especially. He's a Web Exclusive which means he'll only have a one run production in these colors. I imagine Scouter Vegeta 2.0 will be easily accessible since he's a Regular Release. Personally, I pre-ordered Scouter Vegeta 2.0 from HLJ because it's cheaper to buy Regular Releases from Japan retailers and I can't wait for his release. Nappa, on the other hand, I have no problem sacrificing a brown shipper to save money. (Well, I don't have a problem at the moment.) I can easily wait for him to be distributed by Bluefin and purchase from a local retailer. |

Also bear in mind there is currently no fixed quantity for Nappa. It will be made to order for the next 6-8 weeks until they close pre-orders.
Vegeta on the other hand they have a fixed production quantity and once they sell-out they'll have to produce another batch for resale.
This is why I pre-order the regular releases on day one as you don't need to pay in advance, and the webshop exclusives I order just before pre-orders close as they require upfront payment.

Finally managed to get both pre-ordered... from two separate sites, but whatever. Ironically, I did get an email that Vegeta went live on Nippon-Yasan, where I ended up ordering Nappa, but he was apparently sold out again by the time I clicked the link. I wasn't going to order the new Vegeta, but between the issues I have with the 1.0 Vegeta, and the fact that I can use the 2.0 Vegeta pieces (or at least the head) with the recent 2.0 SS Vegeta (which I'm planning on ordering soon so I can swap out bodies whenever I want) and how gorgeous the figure is, I finally caved.
