I remember seeing a lot of talk online about Trunks' new look and his main role in the game, when it came out. He's very far from being an "obscure" character or look. He may not be everyone's most wanted release, but he has the exposure and the current media to tie into, that he makes a lot of sense to release. This isn't out of left field, at all. I never said Trunks is an obscure character. But he's definitely an obscure look. Show any average DBZ fan a pic of Time Patrol Trunks and they'll say "When does he wear that?. TP Trunks is just BARELY getting known because of the Xenoverse series but he is by all means an obscure look for the character. Just like Time Patrol Goku. I don't think he's really as obscure as your thinking. Xenoverse is the best selling Dragonball game of all time, with Xenoverse 2 there's over 5 million sales and counting. It's the most streamed and talked about Dragonball game on youtube and twitch. It's been plastered on pretty much every single Dragonball news site. And, forums have all had huge discussions about it. I'm pretty sure most fans now know who that Trunks is. It's not that confusing, at all. He is definitely more well known than Heroes characters, like TP Goku, though. You're trying to equate a domestic Japanese arcade game to a best selling international console game. That's a bit lopsided. :-/ Only the most casual fans would be clueless to him. But, that doesn't really factor into the decision to make him a figure, anyway. Casual fans aren't the ones spending $40-60+ buying import action figures, they aren't the market. The market are the fans that consume Dragonball on a daily basis, and the vast majority of that will be familiar with him because they probably own one of the Xenoverse games. Either way, he's getting made...sorry. |

Oh man I can't wait for the eventual Black, Zamasu, and Vegito 2.0 releases. Next year is gonna be so awesome for the line

Next year is gonna be so awesome for the line I still wouldn't count on that stuff showing up next year to be honest, even when Funimation finally start the dub, it'll take them a while to catch up to this arc. Willing to bet they'll start pushing out earlier DBS figures though like SSG Goku, Jaco, maybe even 2.0 versions of SSB Goku/Vegeta (not my first choice for 2.0 figures but I expect it to happen) |

They don't only release things according to the Western market so they have a pretty good likelihood of coming out next year since it's going strong in Japan. Also they've said that they're gonna pump the gas for next year and I can't imagine them not releasing the big characters as late as 2018.

65 was good but damn, that preview of 66!! Even though I'm a bigger fan of Gogeta, I must admit that Vegito looks dope in the preview

Bear in mind if they release everything they showed at TN then that's 6 releases between May and December (excluding Kaiouken Goku).
If they choose to stagger them, or give us a couple of re-releases/empty months like last year that could be it for 2017.

Next year is gonna be so awesome for the line I still wouldn't count on that stuff showing up next year to be honest, even when Funimation finally start the dub, it'll take them a while to catch up to this arc. Personally, that just seems like a wasted slot. Although, Xeno characters are coming out...so, I guess it will be nice to have some releases we can skip to let our wallets recover. Lol.  |

I just hope we get figures of Black and Zamasu seeing as with most villains you only get their Final Form. Still fused Zamasu will be pretty cool. He should defiantly come with the halo. Also I guess they have a reason to do Vegito 2.0 now.

Vegeta 2.0 is still under pre-order at BBTS priced at $55, do you guys think this price will remain the same down the road or will it go up as production ceases or down with the inevitable SSGSS Vegeta 2.0 ?

He'll probably hover around $40 for a week here and there. But then yeah he'll go back up to $55+ |

No doubt we're getting Black (w/ SSJ Rosé head) and Zamasu. |

I think we'll get Hit before Zamasu or Black. At this point of Super I would think that Zamasu and Black are way more popular. Especially with the possibility of releasing another proper Trunks with them (Tamashii obviously loves to serve out Trunks figures), I would bet that at least one of them will see the light of day before Hit. |
