I agree with jonmichael, I still haven't got around to buying 17 yet (Amazon won't ship him here so I need to set up a stupid re-direct thing... will do it eventually lol) but 18 is a great figure. Enough articulation, joints work perfectly, heaps of accessories and looks great (especially with Android 16 who is also an awesome figure).
They're not exactly super expensive on the 3rd-party market either so if they were really going to remake something, I'd rather they did something else first like Piccolo, one of the older Goku figures, Scouter Vegeta or even Frieza (again not in a huge need for a remake but could use a PC edition to lower the price a bit)

I hope that we get new no. 17 & 18's with the new joints. it's probably a long shot but i hope so There's nothing they can do for 17. But if they want to make a new 18, then obviously the outfit with the black vest, white shirt (if I remember correctly) would be the way to go. We'd need an Semi Perfect Cell to go with that though  Still so many options. |

I really hope not. 17 and 18 aren't absolutely perfect, but they are great figures. They are much better than Goku, or the other early figures, and don't really need a redo. It wouldn't even be that much of an improvement. That just seems like wasted slots. Save those slots for characters we haven't even gotten, yet. Well, I missed out on the original releases, so a re-issue of the existing figures would be perfectly fine by me. |

I don't like paying a lot for a single figure. I used Paypal Credit to pay for my SDCC Broly. $22 per month over six months. Made it easier. Did the same for six pre-orders.

With the introduction of Xenoverse Figuarts(they did the curve ball thing, big surprise) and assuming that these sell well, I hope at some point they decide(not sure if this is possible) to in some way release figuarts that we could use to build a Xenoverse character of our choice by fusing parts, that would be one super cool totally new completely satisfying thing. Everyone would have one very unique character in their collection that he or she would have imagined to be in the Dragon Ball Universe based purely on likes that they have, a Figuarts Hero born out of the creators(we) own free will to fight against the bad or good. The choice is ours.  Should add that Tien is not Tien if he's not bare chested.   And our beloved Yamcha is not Yamcha without his long wild style hair.  but since they are aiming for this,  I guess it's fine. |

Thanks Matty, already created threads this morning on my phone. They are a bit lame so i'll let a mod clean them up  What I like is the SSJ hair. Especially on Trunks. Better than the Mack and Cheese on the PCE. I wonder if the heads use the same pegs?  Equally, I wonder if the scouter is removable on the Patroller. It doesn't look like it but it might make a good SSJ Adult Gohan head. |

Think I'll give 'Ace' or whatever his name is a miss personally, I loved Xenoverse (can't wait for 2 to come out here) but that's not what my character looked like at all so to me it's just some guy who was in some commercials... Definitely going to grab Trunks though, looks rather awesome. |
