Incredibly annoyed that the video game characters have official release dates while Tien and Yamcha are still display only. I don't get it.
I'm definitely passing on that Hero figure. Looks stupid, in my opinion. I may get the Trunks figure though, just for the hell of it.
Do people really want the Xenoverse figure over Tien and Yamcha? If that's the case, then I get why Tamashii is releasing them first.

We don't choose who Tamashii Nations releases and when. Especially certain characters over others. So there's really no point in asking that question.

You guys have no idea how happy I am that we are getting Xeno Trunks, he's honestly my favorite trunks, thank you guys so much for the photos it completely turned my day around

Very happy to see Tamashii Nations implement the updated quality and articulation for them too. I don't know why but I'm almost interested to see what Xenoverse Trunks would look like with the ponytail head piece on. |

I honestly may just get that trunks for the Trunks head alone. The sculpting is tremendous. Think he looks better than my regular Trunks!

Lol, don't expect his head to look like that on the final release. The hair sculpt rarely, possibly never, loses the level of sculpting detail from prototype to final product. |

Gives me the reaction I expected, I like the Trunks very much but the Hero isn't doing much for me. If nothing else it's interesting to see what an updated Future Trunks might look like (not that I think it needs to be remade this early).
Pretty sure I said it before but wow....Tien and Yamcha are superb. This is the last thing I should be thinking but I'm itching to see an updated Goku now, old outfit or otherwise. I don't have any issues with the old Goku mold, I just see how great an updated Goku would be with the new engineering they're using.
(I'm not going into it, I swear I'm not going into it, but those newer figures with the sunburned skin tone that stand out like a sore thumb...gahhh....)

You can certainly see what it would have looked like with the Time Patroller...and it would have looked awesome. A lot of pieces from the Time Patroller could be re-used for Bojack Trunks, Post-Cell Future Trunks, or even Dragon Ball Super Future Trunks. Am I the only one who isn't all that pleased with Yamcha's head/face sculpt? It's good but I think it could be a lot better. You're not alone on wanting to see an updated Goku. Even when Yamcha was revealed back at SDCC, a lot of collectors were already imagining an updated 2.0 Goku. Between the new articulation, new sculpt work, and updated quality, Goku is going to make one hell of a come back to this line. |
