This line repeats the same characters in a tiresome loop. I know these characters sell, but I want new characters, and Trunks has two (three) differents figures already. I will be saving money I guess T_T That Xenoverse Trunks better has a good amount of accesories to convince me.
I don't care about Future Warrior, at least he is not stealing a monthly slot.

It's baffling to say the least.

What are all of the DB characters that are being released? Can you translate the list as it pertains to DB SHF's?

I, completely, agree on the same old characters getting done over and over again...it's tiring, and has made it easy to cut down on what I buy. Getting endless variations before even getting a mostly full set of the main cast really sucks. That being said, Xenoverse Trunks...HELLS BELLS YEAH!!! I'm sorry, but that is a specific look that I just loved and I never thought we would ever get a figure of him. I'm, personally, very happy for him. I can't explain it, I just love him. He is my "Badman Vegeta," "Drivers Ed Goku and Piccolo," "School uniform Gohan," etc.

Tamashii Nations is certainly attempting to capitalize on the popularity of the Dragon Ball franchise. If they sell well, I imagine these releases are going to open the door for more video game designs and characters. Especially Dragon Ball Heroes since it seems Xenoverse and Heroes are crossing over characters. Personally, I'm looking forward to that door being opened to other characters such as Mira, Towa, Demigra, and different designs of popular characters. Time Patroller Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Gohan, Adult Gotenks, and etc.
I am curious as to why the prices seems to be lower than the past few releases. I'm hoping the quality will be on par with the newer releases and incorporate the newer articulation. Can't wait to see them revealed either at NYCC or Tamashii Nations Events later in the month.

I am also shocked and quite intrigued by this revelation. Interesting that there are 2 entries. Figure Dragon Ball Z SHFiguarts trunks Edition XENOVERSE 4860 yen Bandai Figure Dragon Ball Z SHFiguarts TP (time Patroller) XENOVERSE Edition 4860 yen Bandai As far as I can tell, there is only 1 variety of Trunks in Xenoverse, which begs the question. Is this is an error. Or is the second figure the Time Patroller playable character?? Seems possible.

Such a bizarre choice! I don't hate this version of Trunks, but there's a thousand figures I'd rather have before him!
Tien, Yamcha, anyone from the Buu Saga, anyone from the Saiyan Saga! If these missed opportunities stay missing, they're going to have a missing customer soon.
Just... why...
They'd better make a sensible character announcement soon. This should have been priority #500, but apparently the least well known version of Trunks is more important than the rest of the Z Senshi.

I guess I would probably buy Xenoverse Trunks, but there are certainly better things that could be released.
If they're just making a default Time Patroller, I don't have too much interest in it, but maybe I would get it just as a weird thing to have.

Seems like March 2017 is a little late to cash in on cross-promotional sales with an October 2016 release (or much earlier if it's all based off the first game). I really can't see these selling that well, just don't get the logic... If they really wanted to be lazy and just push out another Future Trunks (easy to make?) surely even a Dragon Ball Super version would be more popular..
And if the 'Time Patroller' mentioned is the main player character from one of the games, that seems like an even worse idea. The whole point of the patroller is we make our own, the pre-built one is just there so the have something to advertise with. I really can't see it being a popular figure. Even as a Xenoverse tie-in, surely one of the villains or the Supreme Kai of Time would've been a better choice :/

Yeah, I think what a lot of us "oldies" are forgetting is that the new Generation of DB fans have grown up on these new video games. I work with a couple of kids in their early 20's. Being born in the mid 90's, they missed out on the glory days of DBZ on Toonami and the 6th Gen console games like the Budokai series.
Instead, their introduction to the series was through the Battle of the Gods movie and Kai. For the younguns coming up now. Super and Xenoverse 'is' Dragon Ball.
It's sad, but is happens. I enjoy the MCU films, but i'm not about to go back and read the 1960's comics and complain that the characters, designs and plot aren't canon to the original!
