I thought for sure we would have found out what the exclusive was by now. The CC is exactly 2 months away. Hopefully we will at least find out in June. Annoying, but we will find out soon. I can't imagine what it could be. Maybe Cell? |

I'm not sure who else can be comic conned, but I'm hoping for Boo saga ssj Vegeta. Realistically I don't see them changing the mold though.
What do you guys think?

I think SDCC is changing, they are giving out stock to resellers without having o go thru SDCC horse hat. Look at the last two release. They can barely hold a 100$ price point sealed.
Bluefin is going to flood the market and hopefully curve this sdcc price crap

I think they could do it, but they won't. Buu Saga Vegeta is too important to be so limited. Plus, he was considered a hero at that point (not counting Majin), and it was already said not to be a hero to begin with. |

I'm still hoping for Cell. It might be Broly, though, and I'm not too excited about it if that would be the case. So far, the only villains released are Freeza, Cell, and Broly. If they stretch it, we also have 16, 17, 18, and Scouter Vegeta. I don't think they can do any recolors with Freeza and I seriously doubt Mecha Freeza. They've already done Scouter Vegeta and it'll make more sense to release a PCE version as a regular release, same for an Android 18 retool. Cell is also in a similar boat, and the only reason why I'm entertaining the possibility is due to hope.

The only legitimate villains are those three. The rest became "good". They need more villains. Obviously Super Buu and Kid Buu are no brainers. I'd love to have a Garlic Jr transformed. Broly is one of the best looking figures in the line, so clearly they can make a figure with a similar build. Dr. Gero would be nice as well. |

SDCC Exclusives from now on aren't going to be just repaints. Namek Goku set a precedent, so now they can get away with slight retools of existing releases. Add a new face, a new article of clothing or accessory, make a new package and call it the new SDCC EX. Done.
They had a chance to do 1 more legit repaint with Future Trunks, but they kinda shot themselves in the foot by already releasing it in it's anime colors, when theoretically it should've been the manga colors instead, whereas the 1 we own would've been an EX.

My guesses for the SDCC this year is either Cell or Android 16. I doubt its Mecha Frieza, Broly and so on. But we'll see, HOPEFULLY SOON!!!!!

The thing is...SDCC Goku wasn't made for SDCC. It was made for the Mexico event and was brought over and repackaged since they already had the mold. It's the same thing that happened with the evil sailor moon. I wouldn't consider last year's Goku a new "thing" |

It's almost certainly going to be a re-painted Cell... which I am at odds with, seeing how amazing Bandai's figure rise Perfect Cell looks! That said, I would go gorrilas for a Semi Perfect Cell!

Considering the last 2 releases have been Cell saga Trunks and Cell saga Vegeta, I'd say this guarantees Cell will be the SDCC exclusive
