I feel they played a bigger role than 16. He really has nothing to do do with the plot. He is just there. I guess using the word "obscure" is inaccurate; an obscure character would be one of the Arlians. 16 is just a really minor character when compared to Raditz and Nappa IMO. Raditz and Nappa are far from obscure. Lol They play pretty big roles in DBZ. Also I guess Nappa and Raditz personally mean more to me. Those were the first bad guys I saw when watching DBZ Just looking at how 16 sold and where his price is now speaks volumes about him. He may not be obscure but he's very minor to the likes of Nappa and Raditz. Those two would sell like hotcakes if/when Tamashii decides to release them. Raditz is Goku's brother and the first villain/Saiyan we see in DBZ and those thunder thighs of him strike fear into the hearts of millions. I predict I'll have a mini stroke when they finally make him. Nappa is freaking Nappa. Nothing more need be said about him. I've been dying for some more Saiyan saga characters. Scouter Vegeta is awfully lonely representing the saga all by himself. Well said! |

It's a personal thing, I don't really find the Saiyan Saga as entertaining as the Frieza saga and Android saga so I don't see characters like Raditz and Nappa as important. sure Raditz set up the Saiyan's but for someone who was the brother of the main character he didn't have a very long lasting effect on the series. Nappa was just a sidekick whose time was equally short lived. When I first started collecting and jumped on the forums I was pretty surprised at how much a Nappa figure was in demand, for myself and most people I know he isn't really that big of a character. I mean the only reason I'd want him atm is to pair up with scouted Vegeta. But that's one of the cool things about this line, people value characters differently based on which parts of the show they enjoy the most. To me 16 is as important as Nappa/Raditz, but also plays an important part in my favourite part of he whole series, Gohan turning SS2. Yeah. To me: Saiyan/ Frieza Saga > android Saga In my opinion, the android /Cell Saga is arguably the worst Saga of DBZ... Every character is at their worst and the way SS2 Gohan manifested, was a farce. |

Yeah SS2 certainly could have been done better, but I still liked the moment, regardless of how it came about. I haven't watched as much Saiyan saga honestly because when I started watching DBZ the Frieza saga was what was on TV so I had to go back and revisit the Saiyan Saga stuff. I guess Raditz and Nappa weren't in it enough to have any development and therefore I never really became attached to them as characters. Having said that I'd still love figures for them, I just don't mind when I get them as much as most. Same as characters such as Yamcha, Tien etc. I'm always seeing the complaints that super characters are being made instead of these characters. I would like then of course but it doesn't bother me if we get them now or later on down the track. |

I will be getting ssg god goku and vegeta and golden frieza and every dragon ball z character, and will just consider if i will buy beerus but when they stop making z characters im leaving the line officially

I actually only want Nappa to display him with Scouter Vegeta, which is pretty much alone on the shelf right now, not really a big fan of the character though

I never understood the Nappa hype. Like it was already said, he alongside raditz are just minor characters that only existed in very few episodes. Maybe people want the nappa figure due to the big body and it being a unique mold, but I can't find another reason to why people want him so badly.... For what? Being displayed with scouter vegeta in a boring standing pose? The best one I can think of is goku holding him up, which is proabably the only one I can think of.
Not saying that I dont want nappa, but please; nappa is nothing compared to the likes of Yamcha or Tien.

He killed off most of the Z fighters. He was awesome! And once again, that's one of the first arcs I watched, so it's highly nostalgic. |

The demand for Nappa wouldn't be so high if Tamashii never made a prototype of him in the first place. Imagine if they had included a "For Display Only" proto of Raditz in this display; we would still be begging for it to be released till this day. Same with almost any other character. ![]() |

On one hand...I get the feeling the Buu/Nappa/SS4 Goku figures may not come out for a long time...on the other hand....I bet Tamashii will be showing off some incredible/unexpected prototypes.
