after reading Jaco's manga (withough even seeing RF) I want Jaco REAL BAD, not only that now he's one of my favorites, after I'll watch the movie I'm sure I'll love him even more. to every Jaco hater here, just read the manga,, from start to end, his adventure with Omori and Tights will remind you Dragon Ball's good ol' days.
I'm a little anoyied that he'll be released before Yamcha, Tien, Roshi, KID BUU, don't think I'm not. but I did give him a chance and I'm glad, cause he is an AWESOME character.

Personally I think they should release:
Kid Trunks (SSJ & base heads, with sword)
Goten (SSJ & base heads)
Hercule (one normal face, one "serious" face, the rest should be STUPID)
Tapion (with Sword & Ocarina)
Legendary Super Saiyan Trunks
Gotenks (base, SSJ & ssj3 head)
Gogeta (base & ssj2 head)
GOD DAMN NAPPA!!! Lol

Im officially skipping on the gohan figure. It just feels cheap. Maybe another day down the road, but atm there is too many figures I have to buy and gohan just seems like a waste.

Wouldn't recommend that dude. These are Figuarts we're talking about here. Always better to get it and regret it and sell it, then not get it, pay more than double and regret it. |

I think Wiizardii01 meant that they wont be getting him on releases. Too many figures to buy currently and funds might not allow them to buy all of the figures. If anything can get pushed back in priority of when to buy, its a figuarts. They circle amazon for a month or 2 at retail after they come out. And will pop up on barnes n noble even after that for retail. Skipping on gohan seems logical to me. |

I'm not saying this in an attempt to sway anyone that hates the Gohan...I just want to throw some of my observations/opinions out. I'm very tempted to say this Ultimate Gohan is the best version of a figure that uses the Goku mold. At first glance it seems the orange used on the gi is lighter with subtle shading (the heavy neon orange shading still bothers me on Goku), the outfit has a heavier matte finish, the skin isn't painted (not something I want to complain about as the painted skin on Goku looks great but it's too easily damaged), the blue seems a tad darker and it looks as if they've updated the flesh tone joints to better match the unpainted skin (very happy to see that). The smirking face is very disappointing but I see plenty of reasons to like this Gohan.  |

I'm inclined to agree. I've been up and down about Ulimate Gohan for a while now, some of the promo pics I saw seemed off to me, and some others looked really good. Recent photos of the figure 'in hand' have swayed me once again and I am very happy with what they came up with and hopefully I get mine within the next week or so.
There seems to be a bit of skin tone difference between the face and the neck/chest but my normal Goku also has that. Only other thing would be the height, I would assume the figure only stands taller due to Gohans hair when the figure should probably be a bit taller, but that's not a major issue for me.
Other than that it seems pretty much spot on. i think the issue most people have is not with the figure itself but with the fact that they chose to go with this version of Gohan under the impression they chose it to make a quick buck. It might be true but I also do like this version so I'm pretty happy with it. Can't wait to have mine!

Just bought mine! Definitely deserving of a much needed re-paint, but an otherwise cool figure. The one thing I just don't understand is this - if you're going to re-use that same old Goku mould over and over again on so many different figures, wouldn't you, for sake of continuity, paint them all the same fn colour!!!
