Im going to need to save up a lot I did the math and I will spend about $290 on just figures Trunks - February 2016. $46 Ultimate Gohan - October 2015 $40 Piccolo - October 2015 $33 Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku - November 2015 $40 Golden Frieza - November 2015 $40 Battle damaged Goku - December 2015 $45 Super Saiyan Vegeta - January 2015 $45 Total approximately $290 Yikes. And that's all in the span of like 5 months. I'm only planning to get 1, maybe 2 of those. Trunks for sure. Battle Damaged Goku maybe. It's not an exclusive, so it should be re-released when I can better afford it. I STILL haven't gotten Vegito, and I've mentioned how much I wanted him on here for months. Fortunately his price seems to have dipped slightly, so that's awesome. |

I missed the first round of Warrior Awakening Goku pre-orders (I prefer to buy direct from Japan), so I had a back up order at Amazon......however I was super lucky this morning as CDJapan put 1 back up so I managed to snag it along with a Yellow Aura Effect and cancelled my Amazon order!! The total with shipping is around £35/$55!! So I'm very happy!! Plus now I should receive my Goku in November!!
I started collecting SHF less than 2 months ago and I've already spent £615 ($950) on 10 figures!!!!! Insane!! And I still need to get Piccolo and the Thunder Effect this month!!
I'm passing on Ultimate Gohan, SSJGSSJ Goku and Golden Frieza.............but I am getting the Wave Effect in Oct, the Aura Effect and Goku in Nov and the new SSJ Vegeta and Trunks in Dec/Jan.
On top of all that I've got SHF Akuma Shogun (Kinnikuman), POP Sabo (One Piece) and DOD Trunks pre-ordered!! Then I also need some more Stage ACT.4 display stands as I'm running short!!!
Damn!! This is turning out to be an expensive year!!!

I also grabbed Figuarts Zero EX's, Medicos Goku re-release that is out this month, all the upcoming figures, and some non-dragonball stuff. Granted the vast majority of the cash I spent was from selling stuff I didn't want anymore on eBay, but still. It's a staggering number to look at. |

Yeah I don't even wanna talk about how much I've spent....I'm still trying to force myself to click the remove from preorders button for my gigantic majin buu on BBTS....but I just can't bring myself to do it....lol

I suggest never doing the math. Once you do, it's very hard to justify sticking with collecting. It's an expensive hobby, let's just leave it at that  |

I'm holding off on pre ordering my two Trunks until October. They should still be available by then.
This past year, aside from my DBZ figs, I have the four Attack on Titan figmas, SH Fig Darth Vader, SH Fig Master Asia, and three Robot Spirits. The money I've spent is insane. Definitely over $1,000.
On the bright side, most of the figures will be worth more as years go by. My biggest concern is that somewhere down the line the prices will start to drop. That would suck

There's no reason to try to sell them yet. DBZ Figuarts always go up in value after awhile, so you'll undoubtedly make money on them in the future.

Time to start listing your 5 most desired SHF reveals and why you want them!! I'll kick off!!
#1 - Nappa - Tamashii are notorious for showing us prototypes (especially with One Piece) and never delivering!! But I really hope Nappa isn't one of them!! Personally I want to see him in his saiyan armour with scouter!! That would be perfect since i've just acquired scouter Vegeta!!
#2 - Raditz (w/Piccolo Makankōsappō effect) - This would be a dream come true!! Tamashii have already shown us the effect, and with Piccolo recently being re-released this would be a perfect addition for new collectors!! No collection would be complete without Goku's long lost brother!!
#3 - Captain Ginyu (w/evil Goku head w/scouter) - This would surely piss off those who missed out on the namek saga goku, but be a great addition to the franchise and certainly increase demand for the SDCC exclusive!! I would be all over it that's for sure!
#4 - Buu Saga/Majin Vegeta. The idea of Gotenks getting an SHF has been blown out of the water with pre-orders now opening for the Zero (you could say the same for Raditz, but the Zero isn't official yet), so imho the only other Buu saga character to get the limelight now would be Vegeta.............
#5 - Buu (Gohan absorbed). We've seen the prototype for this one, and I feel it is coming soon!! My Vegetto just won't be complete without him!!
Not being a movie/Super fan (yet) my wants end there, but open to suggestions............please feel free to share your comments and joing in the count down hype with me!!

I'm so on the same wavelength for the top 4, but as for a fifth? I would love Recoome and the rest of the Ginyu Force as a kind of force pack of a bunch of characters. My 5 most desired Figuarts figures are - 1. Gotenks - After seeing the new ZERO Gotenks my desire for him in a SHF form just grew much more. One of my most favorite characters (well, you could see that by my name  ) and I just hope he will also come with some Ghosts and maybe even a Galactic Donut. seriously, there are so many options for accessories he could come with! 2. Battle Damaged Majin Vegeta - if there's one figure I want more than Buu saga Vegeta it's Majin Vegeta, and if it'll be BD it'd be even better! After Awakening SS Goku I'm sure Tamashii could pull him off and make him look tatal badass. 3. Hercule Satan - The one and only, the world champion, HERCULE SATAN! There can't be any Cell or Buu sagas displays without the champ, so c'mon Tamashii, Just give it to us! 4. Nappa - I've just purchased Scouter Vegeta and no one will go better with him other than Nappa. But unlike the prototype, I'd love to get him with his armor and scouter, I just think it looks better that way. 5. 1st Form Frieza - Frieza, my favorite villain in the franchise, in his 1st form, is a MUST! I hope to get it mostly now with the whole hype around him with the movie and all. If I could pick 6 I'd also put Goten & Trunks on list, I really love those kids, and we can't really have Gotenks without having them. I'd also put them both in the same package since they're both very small characters without tons of accessories. And of course I'd love to see the prototyopes getting made as Beerus, SSGSS Vegeta, Buutenks, Buuhan etc. |
