So obviously Ultimate Gohan and SSGSS Goku won't be released here until October. They haven't even shipped out in Japan yet. I think we might have to slightly adjust the Western release schedule given that Tamashii has been pumping out A LOT on top of their usual Kamen Rider junk (no offense to those that like KR). They've released the Figuarts Avengers and the Star Wars figures which probably upset their scheduling a bit.
I'd say you'll likely see this now:
October: SSGSS Goku and Ultimate Gohan (Unless he's "delayed" to early Jan. 2016 like rumored) November: Golden Frieza December/January: SSJ Awakening Goku (and possibly Ultimate Gohan) January/February: SSJ Vegeta Premium Color March/April: Trunks Premium Color
I wouldn't be surprised if they push back PC Vegeta and Trunks, mostly to make more of SSJ Awakening Goku. They're pretty liberal with the DBZ line and the whole Port Strike in the U.S. has messed things up for a little while.

I wouldn't be surprised either with the timline you are talking about Bardoon. I don't want to sound selfish here, but I am pumped to see some of the star wars guys come out. That Maul has been calling me lately. I do wonder though if Gohan will be pushed back again, I just got that feeling...

We're so close to release date. I heard someone saying that these figs will cost less the later you pre order them (closer to release date) is that true? If so, then hell yeah! Have you been asleep for the past few years? Simple research could disprove that statement. No I didn't do research, which is why I calmly asked here. Don't be a dick, even if the question was stupid you could have simply answered it instead of saying ''have you been asleep the past few years''

If it wasn't for this issue, we wouldn't have to preorder everything for the best price. Coot

I thought it would be something special this year or something because someone mentioned it. No harsh feelings.

I just got my Luke and he looks fantastic. Up close you can see that the printing is somewhat pixelated and you can see the multiple CMYK colors making up the features, but in terms of getting a likeness down on this scale of figure, it's a home-run. I can't wait to see this technology get better and better and honestly, it's beginning to assist in setting Tamashii apart from its competition (FIGMA, Revoltech). After the embarrassing face paints of Injustice Superman, I began to get a little worried with the Avengers and Luke. Especially after seeing how awesome the Luke prototype looked. Thankfully, the Avengers (thus far) have turned out pretty solid. I still feel they were a little rushed because the paint applications aren't Tamashii standard, but they're overall great figures. I hope Thor doesn't suffer from Injustice Supes syndrome. Luke's 3-D printed face will take this scale of action figures to the next level of likeness. For a mass-produced figure, it looks fantastic and I'm interested to see the technology get better. In terms of Dragon Ball, I can see it helping diversify some of the facial expressions we get for figures. Obviously, the printing technology benefits facial features with more detail (like real human likenesses) but it may allow for a greater level of detail when it comes to anime faces. Characters with a lot of colors and details around their faces like Cell and Mecha-Frieza can benefit the most since it could help bring out their facial expressions better.

In regards to figure prices dropping closer to release, I believe you were referring to how the OG Vegeta/Trunks price will drop when the PC Vegeta/Trunks come out, correct me if I'm wrong. If that's what you were talking about than yeah, I personally believe that will happen. Most people just want a Trunks and SSJ Vegeta so the small differences in coloring won't matter to the mainstream fanbase. The prices of the OG should drop when the new ones come out since why spend $300 on figure when there's a similar one readily available for less than $40?

im excited for the price drop since i want both, i mean there is always going to be people who will want more but if its between paying 40 for a better painted figure or 340 for one with less quality, im gonna pay 40 in a heartbeat, i mean i want a ssj3 goku repaint beyond belief since i believe the first was horrid

I agree Luke does look fantastic. However, as you said they completely dropped the ball on Superman. What a letdown. At this point they should just stop with the Injustice line altogether & capitalize on the upcoming Batman v. Superman film. I'm not really a fan of the Injustice costumes, Joker looks waaay too "out there," Superman's S symbol is freakin huge, etc. As for their Avengers, compare SHF Hulk with Figma Hulk and tell me which one is more movie-accurate. And yeah, I gotta feeling Thor is gonna look "off," too (although I was never a fan of Chris Hemsworth as Thor to begin with). I want Figuarts Thor, not Figuarts Chris Hemsworth. LoL, that sounds weird but I dunno how else to describe it, he just doesn't convince me he's [supposed to be] a Norse God I guess. It's like Tamashii is great in some areas but completely fall flat in others. It kinda irks me how these figures can be hit-or-miss at times.

crisis...you the same dude from the Sisdeshow Freaks Board? I do agree FIGMA Hulk looks more movie accurate, but overall Figuarts and FIGMA's Avengers' lines have been "stylized" to a degree. I honestly prefer the AoU costumes of main characters like Cap, Thor and Iron Man so the Figuarts appeal to me. Cap's AoU costume is finally how I pictured a modern movie Cap's costume should be. It's going to be interesting to see how Tamashii approaches Thor. The prototype depicts him with the traditional paint application face...but will they try the face printing technique?

I've always ordered my figures direct from Japan (amiami/hs/hlj/ny/bij/etc.), so I've never experienced the "1 month" delay between JP and Int. releases. I've got Goku ordered from Amiami and CDJapan and Vegeta from Nippon Yasan. I expect with SAL I'll receive my Goku around early-Dec and Vegeta early-Jan............. There's been no announcement from Tamashii regarding Ultimate Gohan (currently scheduled for September) and SSGSS Goku and Golden Frieza (both scheduled for October), so presume they will still be released on time. They'll probably confirm early next month. By the way, I know many of you have mentioned you'll be getting the Aura Effect in November along with Goku, but is anyone getting the October Wave Effect? I'm getting the Blue version and hoping to display Cell over it like in the picture of the white one below:

Do you think they will make yardrat goku? I will go nuts if they make him. One of my favorite outfits. don't think we will soon, there are few reasons for that - 1. that design was only for, what, 3 episdoes? 2. people complain about having too much Gokus, so having another one isn't a great idea (both selling wise, and variety of characters wise) 3. not a lot of people like to have every outfit that the characters ever wore, and mostly, since we already got 3 SS Gokus (Manga, SDCC and BD) which 2 of them are non-exclusive. so people rather have them instead of the yardat clothes. not only that, the others are much much more iconic than this one, too.
