im curious if the repaints will drop the prices of trunks and vegeta, just because i assume they will have much more vibrant colors. but i saw pictures of the figures and the hair kinda resembles vegetos in regards to the solid color of just yellow hair. hopefully there is some shading, anyone have anything to show itll actually have detail added?? The prices have already dropped but not by much. I suspect the closer we get to release, the more they'll drop. Some people just want a Trunks or Vegeta and don't really care about the small differences between the 1st release and these. Why pay hundreds when there's a perfectly good one for less than $50. These actually do have slight shading with the color being darker around the roots of the hair. It looks to be glossy finish so they won't be as dull and plain like Vegito's was. Still prefer the OG versions hair but I'll def be picking up a few of these to have some extras.   Thanks! i saw a trunks go for sale for 250 yesterday, slightly upset i didnt grab him but figured id wait till these guys release, im still missing cell, normal vegeta, ssj vegeta, and ssj3 goku and of course the 1300 dollars sdcc ssj goku -.- but after that i have em all |

They've gotta update Vegeta's hair sculpt. Goku got that treatment so why shouldn't Vegeta. It'll just look odd with the rest especially considering that Vegito has the same striated and detailed hair as well (let's not talk about the coloring, cuz they screwed up real bad there). I think they should keep the old hair sculpts for Goku/Vegeta for Cell Saga and below and have new ones for Buu Saga and up. It'll reflect the change in art style perfectly and it'd be strange to have a prior saga having better hair than a later saga. Absolutely! I know a few people weren't that satisfied with Goku's new hair sculpt but I believe a lot more people, including myself, would have been extremely disappointed if they just repainted Super Saiyan Goku's head blue. Goku and Vegeta are in the exact same movie so there's no reason why they shouldn't have similar detail and coloring. Super Vegeta had some noticeable striations and detail but, other than that, I agree that the hair sculpts should reflect the change in art style. They have been doing a great job. I hope they update Vegeta's hair mold, too. There's still a chance they will, the final product doesn't always have to look exactly like the prototype..   |

Btw, EVERYTHING about SSJ4 Goku was majestic I'm really hoping that the Awakened Goku will open the doors for more battle damaged releases. Especially characters, specifically Piccolo, that need upgrading and added accessories. (We demand more faces!) Also, if there are going to be more releases of characters and different versions, Namek Vegeta for example, maybe we can get all new faces with them rather than the previous faces. I'm just truly hoping Tamashii KNOWS how popular this line is becoming and they're motivated to give us the best product. So far, it seems like they do. They just need to keep the momentum going. ...I honestly can't argue with that. I was looking at it last night and I couldn't believe how spectacular it looked. The only TWO things I want changed now are his hip joints and shoulders similar to Awakened Goku. I think those two additions/retools would make the figure absolute perfection. |

Medicos Goku/Celty Re-issue/SSGSS Goku/Golden Frieza/Mystic Gohan Then later BD Goku, and Ssj Vegeta Advanced Color. Hell I can't recall when Trunks Figuarts Zero Ex is hitting, but that too! I think that's still this year. |
