For all those who are wanting Golden Frieza S.H. Figuarts I have given up my preorder for reasons I don't wish to explain so if anyone wants it I just wanted to let you know this. You came to your senses and decided you didnt need happy meal toys in your collection eh? I kid I kid |

Pretty sure they'll update the hair just like they did for Goku. Would suck if they didn't. We'll just have to wait until we see a release date and the official pictures. I hope so. It would seem very strange if they didn't and very annoying to see them side-by-side. I would imagine they could use the same updated sculpt for a Buu Saga/Majin Vegeta release as well. Yeah, we still have ways to go until we get those official pictures and release date. Maybe around the time of NYCC/Tamashii Nations 2015. That's when Vegito was "corrected," I believe. They've gotta update Vegeta's hair sculpt. Goku got that treatment so why shouldn't Vegeta. It'll just look odd with the rest especially considering that Vegito has the same striated and detailed hair as well (let's not talk about the coloring, cuz they screwed up real bad there).
I think they should keep the old hair sculpts for Goku/Vegeta for Cell Saga and below and have new ones for Buu Saga and up. It'll reflect the change in art style perfectly and it'd be strange to have a prior saga having better hair than a later saga.

Does anyone know if SSGSS Goku still comes out in September? Amazon hasn't changed the date yet others have said October/November September? I thought Bluefin typically released their figures in NA the month after the Japanese release. According to Tamashii it's Ultimate Gohan who's first up for release in September followed by Goku and Frieza in October: tamashii.jp/item/11002/but perhaps they've switched the release dates around to keep with hype of the film??? |

im curious if the repaints will drop the prices of trunks and vegeta, just because i assume they will have much more vibrant colors. but i saw pictures of the figures and the hair kinda resembles vegetos in regards to the solid color of just yellow hair. hopefully there is some shading, anyone have anything to show itll actually have detail added??

The prices have already dropped but not by much. I suspect the closer we get to release, the more they'll drop. Some people just want a Trunks or Vegeta and don't really care about the small differences between the 1st release and these. Why pay hundreds when there's a perfectly good one for less than $50. These actually do have slight shading with the color being darker around the roots of the hair. It looks to be glossy finish so they won't be as dull and plain like Vegito's was. Still prefer the OG versions hair but I'll def be picking up a few of these to have some extras.   |
