Quality over Quantity. I'd rather have the Figuarts collection over a bunch of little figures at $15/ea There's no arguing that Figuarts are the best quality. However, the problem with a Figuarts collection is that it has absolutely NO quantity and even though their individual quality is amazing and best out there, their quality as a whole lacks a bit because of scale issues. We all have our opinions and I respect that. IMHO, I'd take my 5 inch scale collection of hundreds of different characters that I can customize and modify and build such a variety with any day than collect a line that takes 3+ years to build 13 figures (only 10 of them are different characters) but for some of us, patience comes easy. I've wanted to eventually collect these and fix their scale problems, but until I see that variety with Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu made, it probably won't happen. If it does, I'd collect everyone minus Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo's original manga releases. This. There's really no reason that a line cannot have both quality and quantity. Only 10 different figures in over 4 years is ridiculous.

I totally agree that they need to step up their release schedule.

I agree with the selection of characters not being the best, but they have potential. I'm also very new at this, so my opinion is hardly worth it lol. It was the Normal Goku that hasn't even come out yet that made me like the line anyways, I like the attention to detail

One question I do have about this line is the upcoming aftermarket value. Do you think the Goku or 18 will skyrocket? My thinking is probably not, as you see with how cheap Krillin is 18 probably won't. Goku most definitively will. SS Goku is fetching $60 or more at most places (even after being released twice with another re-release coming), SS3 Goku is fetching $100, and SDCC Goku is fetching a billion dollars. It's a good bet that regular Goku's prices is going to go up fast.

I absolutely hate the long waiting periods but I do enjoy the chance to save enough money to make the purchases.

Will the price of the original Manga Piccolo drop when the re-release comes out? Any store carrying him will be getting a bunch more in stock, so naturally. It's the same figure. Just more of it.

So the re-release will be the same exact thing, just more of them? Packaging still Japanese and everything? I might as well sell mine and pre-order the new one

Personally I think the high aftermarket values completely stopped with Perfect Cell and all those released after him. Perfect Cell was $6 more than the original retail price last time I checked on Amazon, and he's been out for well over a year. The only ones I think have potential for high aftermarket value are the SDCC exclusives. I'm sure that Tamashii is well aware of the high demand for these figures, and they've probably stepped up on the production. Also, with all of the re-releases, even the 1st editions will drop in price.
