So is there any point in getting excited about WonFes in 4 days time? Usually i'm only looking out for the Megahouse exhibits, but has Tamashii been very active at these in the past? I can see from Winter WonFes they showcased the Sailormoon S.H. Figuarts. Do you think we can expect anything on the Dragonball front?? Confirmation on the Vegeta/Beerus RoF figures or perhaps the Absorption Buu's? Maybe even something entirely new? New Premium color versions (SSJ3 Goku/Cell/Vegeta/Freezer??? God Please!!) or even a Tien/Yamcha/Gotenks? Or do you think we'll have to wait until Tamashii Nation in October? Well, in the past SDCC was always a big thing for them but this year was such a huge disappointment. We got a smaller display than other events and absolutely no news. Honestly, I'm not expecting anything from Tamashii after that letdown including at WonFes. I'd love it if they did give us anything but I don't think it'll happen It is a bummer that they don't have anything left to share, but on the same note havnt they given us quite a bit of stuff to look forward to? I know I am going to have the next month or so dedicated to just getting DBZ figs. Coot

I know I am going to have the next month or so dedicated to just getting DBZ figs. Coot I know we got a lot of new reveals, mainly Bog/RoF stuff, but I was hoping to see older stuff such as Buu Saga stuff (Gotenks, Kid/Super Buu, Majin Vegeta, etc.) or even Saiyan or Namek stuff. SDCC was still the most disappointing of all years since the display was very lackluster and even the stuff such as the Buu's and Shenron weren't even there. I won't even get into the fact that we haven't seen SSJ4 for a good while (I REALLY want him). Cool to get the Premium releases and everything to have some spares and for the newcomers but I just feel there's other characters that need to be put out before what we've been seeing. Like someone else aptly put it on another forum, Tamashii blew there load too quickly. At the very least I would like to soon know an update on the Buu prototypes, release dates for Beerus and SSGSS Vegeta, and the status of SSJ4 Goku. Shenron seems to be one of those prototypes they're gonna tease us with every few years and never end up releasing. It's pretty frustrating when a company does that. Very unprofessional imo and shows the lack of trust in the line. Dragon Ball sells! I WANT to give them my money, why won't they just take it already

My goal to collect all the of the S.H. Figuarts that have been revealed this year, well, with the exception of Jaco. Not that I have anything against the character, its just I don't understand how he fits in with the Dragon Ball Universe or why its necessary to release him first before characters like Yamcha or Tien.

Tamashii has revealed A LOT of figures in the last few months. I wouldn't be surprised if we dont hear anything from them for a while regarding SH Figuarts. Figuarts Zero and EX? Maybe. But not SH.

I understand why they're releasing what they're releasing before other characters but doesn't mean I necessary like it. I would see ANY other character before someone such as Jaco but they're riding the movie/new show hype right now, so it's understandable. I would just like an update on where the future of the line is gonna be and where some of the older characters they've shown are standing. So far, they've given us nothing in that regard and it really sucks. They keep us in the dark so much, it gets aggravating. Still really excited for most of these new releases (Jaco being the only exception) and the growth the line is experiencing but it wouldn't hurt to let us know what's up with the rest of the stuff.

That's my prediction! We might not see anything new until late 2015 or early 2016! It would be nice if at the very least we knew who else was coming out in 2016 besides Trunks and (potentially) the delay of Ultimate Gohan. They have quite a few prototypes they showed without any "definitive" date or release.

Yeah, I imagine that does get frustrating, them not keeping you informed on stuff. Like with the Buu/Gohan and Buu/Gotenks figures and SSJ4 Goku I know there was been a big question and when those will released and no information has been relased about. Some people believe that SSJ4 Goku might have been cancelled due to the fact Dragon Ball GT is not considered canon anymore with the BOG and ROF released, not to mention Dragon Ball Super.
Yeah, I know why they are bringing Jaco out with the other upcoming figures, I just think the older characters like Yamcha and Tien who has never gotten a release yet deserves to be released before him. But I get they want to make as much profit on the new movie and DBS series as possible.

The only clue is the tab for Gohan from SDCC.
I wouldn't be surprised though. Considering how "strong" Tamashii is going with RoF SSGSS Goku, RoF Golden Frieza, PC Vegeta and Awakening SSJ Goku...squeezing Gohan on the factory line might be a little tough. We'll probably hear more about Ultimate Gohan and the possible delay next month...

I don't think SSJ4 Goku is cancelled nor do I think GT is out of picture for good. They're a figure company at the end of the day and canonicity doesn't matter, they'll make what sells. Canon or not, SSJ4 is iconic and a popular form of Goku all over the world. My grandma even knows who SSJ4 Goku is and she's from Ecuador! I'd love to see some more GT figures like SSJ4 Gogeta, SSJ4 Vegeta, and a few villains. I think it'd be best for the line and the fans if they would simply split the line into DB, DBZ, DBS, and DBGT. That way we could all get what we want without fighting over release spots. I hope that for WonFes we at least get some kind of updates be it release dates, prototype news, or whatever.
If Ultimate Gohan is pushed back, I hope it's so they could release him alongside other Buu Saga characters. They've done excellent work with pairing characters together so far with the RoF releases so I hope it extends to the Buu one's as well.

I absolutely agree with you 100% I don't think he is cancelled either I think he has just been pushed back due to Fukkatsu No "F" but he will in time be released as well as the other figures they teased. Also, I think splitting off the S.H. Figuarts according to series is a great idea and I hope in the future they end up doing this. I would also like to see DBGT and DB figures as well come out eventually.

SSJ4 Goku will definitely come out. That incarnation of Goku is very popular in other Dragon Ball merchandise so it makes no sense for Figuarts to push him into Nappa/Shenron limbo.
