I have no doubt we'll see those two next year. Right now they're focusing on RoF/DBS, which is understandable financially but I hope they go back and start filling in the gaps from the previous sagas. I think they're gonna start with Namek first after Buu and then go to Saiyan Saga afterwards. I eventually wanna see all the forms of Frieza, Cell, and Buu. It's definitely possible with the line growing like it is now. It would be kinda funny if they made lots of Buu stuff then went backwards. Imagine if they kept going and made some Dragonball Figuarts...! I don't like most of the main DBZ villains much, and I'd stop at one form, but yeah, that would be pretty cool. Buu's so weird that they'd start with two different "character-absorbed" Super Buus. Mr. Buu is easily the most iconic, and I presume the most popular. Kid Buu is the most stark contrast, and his "final form". I wonder about Frieza. I pretty much already missed Final Form Frieza, eh. I didn't see the movie yet, but I might get Golden Frieza. On the other hand, it might be fun to have 100% Frieza. Or his 2nd or 3rd forms, which might be my favorites (is it because they get less screentime? I'm weird like that sometimes.) What about...CYBORG FRIEZA. (which reminds me, KING COLD PLEASE) When thinking of Cell, I immediately thought of 3 forms. Pretty obvious. But then I thought of MORE. Power-weighted Cell...Larva Cell...Cell's shedded shell...self-destructing LAZOR-FIRIN Cell...there's a lot to work with. Frieza was actually my very first Figuart, got him for a mere $45...man those were the days. I found it VERY strange how they released Buu's alternate forms before Super Buu himself but now it means they have to make Gotenks, Ultimate Gohan (check), and Super Buu for it to make sense, although Tamashii isn't known for being too logical in it's decisions. As far as going back to older stuff, I think it would be smart if they simply separated the Dragon Ball line into DB, DBZ, DBS, DBGT. That way characters wouldn't be fighting for release slots and there would be more personalization towards each series since they are all very different from each other with (sometimes) opposing fanbases. I want every possible form of every villain, hero, and minor character to be made. That's my all time collection goal for this line specifically (a crazy completionist mindset). Bring on the obscure forms of Cell!

For me, the villain with the best character design is King Cold. I would love to have him released in this line

my favorite villain design is 1st form Freiza. I wish we could get him now with all the Frieza hype that's around lately.

my favorite villain design is 1st form Freiza. I wish we could get him now with all the Frieza hype that's around lately. I would love a first form Frieza, with a hovercar thing as an accessory, but I highly doubt that would happen I'm a huge fan of Frieza, and I constantly kick myself for not buying him off Amazon the like 30 times I looked at him for $40, saying that is too much. Bought him for over 100 this year. :sigh: On the up side, I scored the Panini Golden Frieza TCG promo from SDCC coming to me from a dude who happened by the booth and picked it up for me E: Oh hay, 500th post!

Kind of funny that Goku is a Japanese creation and he's wearing WW2-era U.S. Army outfit and riding a WW2-era U.S. Military motorcycle.

Although its cool, because there is no hard feelings or whatever and whoever did that was japanese and was cool with it. He/she was Japanese, right?

That picture was drawn by Akira Toriyama for one of the Dragon Ball art books. So yes.

It's just Toriyama screwing around, he did a lot of "for fun" artwork. Half of the manga covers have nothing to do with the story of their issue e.g. the Piccolo and Goku in a car picture that inspired the driving test episode. A lot of the covers have illustrations of planes, bikes and various vehicles. I guess they were just fun to draw.

I dont collect figuarts anymore but if we're talking awesome villains they should make, I want the Ginyu Force. Cmon someone needs to give us 6' scale ginyu force poses. We have enough gashapon scales. tamashii needs to hurry up and make it happen but they wont because they never take risks

I would love to get them, because the originals are now too expensive. With a repaint frieza I'd like to see him like in the episodes when gohan would be sleeping dreaming about his dad and frieza would show up with his purple parts looking pinkish. It looked like a chill design

Perfect Cell looks too expensive to make a premium version.. sadly i don't see them doing it. Would be amazing though.

I could see them doing Perfect Cell and making him brighter green calling it "Super Perfect Cell". Frieza, not so much. He's already as accurate as he's gonna get, can't do anything with him at all to be significant enough as a full fledged repaint.
