Is that $180 for Mike Jackson? Damn Look closely and you'll see that there is no price at the moment. It's more of a "To be declared" type of placeholder. |

Finally some Naruto figures. Defiantly buying this!  Was this just shown at NYTF? Last I heard they had cancelled this figure. Really hope it does get a release. And that Michael Jackson is way better than the Figma Thriller version. |

Wow, pwnstar511 did a majorly sucky job organising that DBZ display! The poses are all uncomfortably robotic and the whole production feels very disjointed. There's no sense or semblance of continuity between each and every figure. None whatsoever. A very unimaginative and all round shoddy display. I honestly feel that I put a lot more effort into poses for my own little display. I mean, this was for NYTF... c'mon!

Sorry but I have to rant. I've grown very tired of seeing the same SHF DBZ figures over and over for awhile now at these conventions. Tamashii need to move their butts and confirm more of the lineup and produce more prototypes. This years poor NYTF effort for the DBZ line feels like a big middle finger to the collector. SDCC had better have a whole lot more going on than this.

Update from the guy who worked with tamashii today: YES! Finally! An SDCC Vegeta! If that potential retooling ends up being a Buu Saga torso, I'm going to die from happiness. Still kinda sad that Broly has more of a chance of being made than Nappa. Their Nappa prototype was just TOO DAMN BIG. If they sized it down to his ACTUAL size they wouldn't be having such serious cost retraints. Oh, well. Broly would probably sell better anyway. And he would be a neat figure. I hope we get our Mystic Gohan at some point... It'd be such a cheap figure for them to release. I'm not really surprised about the Sailor Moon popularity, but I'm impressed it's even more popular than their Kamen Riders and Power Rangers. |

Even if I like Krillin, 18, Trunks and Goku... Watch the proportions of Vegeta or 17... Irwin's 17 is much better proportioned... Those figures are fine for collectors but they are more like manga figures for expositions.... I prefer anime figures... I think most fans of DBZ SHF are pretty synonymous about Vegeta's weird proportions. Keep in mind Android 17 was a just a VERY early prototype that was last shown. If you remember, 18 looked like a pile of poop once, too:  |

Big characters are pretty much the only ones I would be interested in, so what little interest I had in this line is now gone. Same here. What a lame excuse. I mean, just charge more. It's not like people aren't willing to spend for these. |

Hey guys, I have to say I'm very dissapointed that we didn't get new prototypes at all on this year's NYTF... I mean, it's been a year since they showed 17,18 Nappa and Shenron and only one of those has gotten a release date... This line is going at a very slow pace in my humble opinion. I initially started to collect this line in hopes of getting Yamcha but as time passed and I got more and more of these, I got really into the line to a point that I just wanted to get new prototypes; not necessarily Yamcha. So waited a whole year for what could be the year's biggest toy convention, for what? to see 18 standing alone as the only "new" prototype... I mean I'm just dissapointed ... Don't get me wrong, their lineup looks nice, I love what these guys do. I liked the Naruto announcement, which caught my attention, their Sailor Moon line seems to be doing great, and Mario looks beast... but cannot help worrying that they will focus more on those lines instead of the DBZ  and my dream of seeing a Yamcha prototype has been pushed another year... or more. Sorry guys just wanted to express how I feel about this. |

It's all good mate, you're not the only one. Many of us, I'd say, are disappointed at the lack or prototypes and release dates. Also the fact that they dangle a figure in your face but never say anything about it. We're barley getting regular/base Goku, and nappa seems to be on that path with Shenron possibly tagging along. Plus the fact they're releasing 2 figures that had already been release instead of a new one like gohan(unless they're waiting of uk to get them and release him later for everyone). Either way not much to be excited about anymore, we just have to wait and see what happens.
