I'd rather have releases from GT than from DB. Also, if they make Gotenks, I hope they also make a Gogeta as well. Would look badass next to Vegito.

I have a theory to why they don't start a DB line yet. and that's because they have right now the DBS and GT project to finish, and of course the main - the DBZ project. after they'll finish at least the GT line (which I think should have like 10-15 figures at most) they'll start the DB project, who should take a lot more than just 15 figures. and hell, if we get AT LEAST SS4 Goku and Super baby Vegeta, I'll be satisfied.
as for Gotenks, I love him much more than Vegito (and you can see that lol) so I'll take him anytime, along with Goten and Trunks.

I never watched GT, but I wouldn't mind some GT figures. I'd really like a Pan figure! A Bra figure would be awesome too!
As for Dragonball, I mainly would want Launch! Oh, and kid Chi-Chi! I might be the only person who seriously wants a Ranfan figure.
...so, more girl figures mainly.

I am new to the S.H. Figuarts line and I was wondering. Why is it that they become so expensive after they are released?

I am new to the S.H. Figuarts line and I was wondering. Why is it that they become so expensive after they are released? Once the product is out of production or sold out your only option is ebay. Scalpers prepare for this and order multiples of the figures in advance to sell them on for extremely high prices and from there the prices go up until theres no more listings.

I am new to the S.H. Figuarts line and I was wondering. Why is it that they become so expensive after they are released? because they are web exclusives, and a lot of people are collecting them. so whenever the stock of the retail prices is over, scalpers use it to sell the figure for much more, cuz they know there's a demand for them.

We can't blame scalpers for this totally, supply and demand set the price. Since the line has been only gaining in popularity, the older releases that have been effectively out of print for a while have only risen in price since there was no policy of re-issues on the horizon. This has changed recently with the effective re-issue of Trunks/SSJ Vegeta with their Advanced Repaints. While they are not strictly a 1:1 re-issue of the figures, it's a close enough new figure that most people who were chasing these figures have resigned to get the new versions instead. Which is causing the prices on those older figures to drop like a rock. Trunks can be seen for sub $200 now randomly.

Yeah, the buyers are the problem. Scalpers are actually the innocent ones if you really think about it.

Yeah, there's a lot more cooler characters in DB than GT. It would be awesome to have all those. If SHF is going to make more battle damaged DBZ figures, I'd love to see this Damn, I never noticed how BIG his head was in some of the earlier art. This is not one of the very iconic bd designs in the seires, even though I would LOVE to get this as well!! I said this before but I think though, that if they will revisit scouter Vegeta mold for another release, it could be cool too, to see a Namek Vegeta! Add a Namek sized ball, one alternate bd shoulder pad etc. I think that it could satisfy the demand for those that missed out on the first scouter Vegeta too. After that, they can give us Nappa, Radtiz, Bardock, and a Space pod that would go with them, perfect!!

A space pod would be nice. The Irwin/Jakks one goes for a lot

Yeah, the buyers are the problem. Scalpers are actually the innocent ones if you really think about it. No the core of the problem isn't the sellers or buyers it's the company... if the company didn't produce very little dbz figuarts there wouldn't be a shortage of figures and therefore no price inflation. If the company produced a lot of figures( more than people were willing to buy )there would be a surplus and prices would actually fall. So if you really really think about it, it's the firm's fault

Does anyone want a Bordock figure? Not any time soon. Getting tired of seeing Goku's head

I would buy Bardock, but I'm not especially hoping for one.

I would love a Bardock. Wouldn't exactly be another Goku, since the head will have the bandana and scars, plus he's got the saiyan armor.
