I wouldn't say Goku makes up a third of the line, remember Vegeta has 3 different releases, as well as Gohan is about to get his third figure in a few months. Goku being the main character with 4 isn't that much.

Yea I should of done the math a little better, but obviously Goku has a good amount of releases to the point that I think folks are ready for another possible SS/SSG Vegeta variant. We have a SS, SS3, SSG, regular Goku, SDCC Goku, and now this Mexico Exclusive as well. Point is with Vegeta being one of the other main characters, I couldn't see how he wouldn't have a fig in time for the new movie. It looks like figuarts likes to release a Goku variant for every time line of DBZ which is why I am not surprised that of course one of the first figures of the new movie is Goku. Coot |

Coot Yeah, I think Goku is generally the safer bet of all the characters, just due to his being the main character. He's more of an icon that represents DBZ than Vegeta is. |

Goku being the main character with 4 isn't that much. Eh I would say more like 2 when it comes to vegeta, the sdcc version of him is not even a dream anymore lol. Also we haven't gotten like more prominent vegeta's in the line, such as his iconic clothings from the cell and buu saga. Goku already got his usual outfit release, a ssj release, a ssj3 release, mexico exclusive, re-issues, etc etc. (sorry to copy what coot said) What did vegeta get? One arlian repaint, and alot of people thought it was a lousy one... I kinda have to agree, it wasn' that good. I am not a huge fan of the saiyan saga armour anyhow which is why I gave my bet to the ssj vegeta figure (a bet that went down the toilet). I mean in my opinion they could have also kept it cool and simply released ssj3 goku at sdcc and then focus on more majin buu saga figures later on, and then get to the FnF after a while, and definently after it has been released in USA on dvd and blu ray (which wont be in a while). SJJ3 SDCC exclusive goku doesn't really seem like possible anymore because the FnF clothing goku is headed as the ''main'' goku now, if you know what I mean. As I am thinking about it tamashii really did jump the shack way too high, we haven't even gotten any BoG figures, now they are just out of nowhere making FnF figures? Just seems stupid to me. We all know the goku and frieza aren't gunna be the only FnF figures coming out, there will be some more if I give a good prediction - beerus (has to be), whis, and possibly some others down the line. though its not like I wont be buying the FnF figures: its just that my hype for the vegeta figures and such just broke down, and its getting worse now that alot of people are proabably right about the fact that we'll get a vegeta after the goku & frieza FnF figures sell well.... And when will THAT vegeta get released? I am guessing not untill 2016.......  ;( |

Yep, all very valid points, plus, with the Mexican exclusive Goku, SSJ 4 Goku, and FnF Goku, all to be eventually released, that really is a lot of Goku figures especially for a line that isn't very big (yet).

Is that the SDCC release??? We don't know yet, but I don't think it will be. All we really know is it's a Mexican Convention exclusive. |

Ok because I know they don't alter clothing they just change colors and the belt is different plus a logo thats why I ask. I hope not though I was hoping for a better one but I guess we'll see.

Looks like the box has been intentionally designed to be indicative of the Mexican flag, further attributing to its exclusivity to Mexico. Perhaps this is not our SDCC after all...

Really hoping I can get my hands on this for an okay price.
Box bothers me, but I display loose any way, so no big deal!
