I'm really happy it has darker orange than the first Goku. closer to Krillin's The gi color alone is enough reason to get it. It's like Tamashii infiltrated my dreams and released the perfect figure. Namek Goku 100% accurate to the anime. Only real downside is it's supposed to be impossible to get. Even if you go to the event, you have to have a special ticket to get the figure. It might even become rarer than SDCC Goku.

If it really is impossible to find...there's always the chance that Datong could just make it. Lol

I'd be glad to pay $43 for that Mexican Goku... I hope Toyz in the box gets him.

Screw Datong! This is one of my most wanted figures. I will go to the ends of the Earth to get this. I advise everyone to grab this figure the moment it pops up anywhere online. This guy is gonna be really rare.

And his face will look like this: Datong, not that other Chinese company that makes figures that fall apart. With the exception of the arms being off colour on SS3 Goku, Datong have actually had better paint jobs than a lot of the recent Figuarts. And, with Figuarts getting cheaper/lazier with each release and doing stuff like just giving Vegito white bare hands instead of proper gloved hands...it doesn't seem like a bad option. If I can get this guy from Tamashii either online or at SDCC, I will most certainly buy it direct from them over buying a Datong. But, if the only option is $400+ or Datong...

I have to say, I'm a little disappointed that they haven't revealed a RoF SSGSS Vegeta. I thought they were holding off because they didn't want to spoil his new form before the movie was out. But, it is kinda looking like they are just skipping him. He was the figure I was the most looking forward to from the other movie figures. I'm hoping that they're just waiting to see how the other Fukkatsu no F figures sell. Hopefully if they sell well or get a lot of preorders, we'll get SSGSS Vegeta.

This version of Goku is what a lot of people consider as one of his definitive looks. If Tamashii decides to release it solely in Mexico, in small quantities, and makes him incredibly difficult to get...it's stupid. They have to know how much American customers would like this, and that's why I think there's a chance it could be another exclusive. Whether it's SDCC or NYCC or even the random new CCs traveling to other states.
This is the version of Goku most people wish they would have just released in the first place. If they are seriously going to make him impossible to get...people want to give you money Bandai/Tamashii, why do you make it so hard for them to???

It's not really America that they should care about. America already gets the SDCC. Now Mexico gets it's own exclusive. It doesn't matter who gets it, just the fact that it's exclusive is plain wrong. Time and time again, they've shown preference for Japan, hence most releases being manga colored. To cater to their home market, they WILL release this in manga form as a web exclusive. They won't be doing it for America but for Japan, but in the end it doesnt matter as long as it gets some kind of wide release. They wouldn't screw over their own country and for this reason alone, I'm sure we'll get the wider version release of this figure.

Isn't the Western market, and America specifically, the reason that the Dragon Ball figuarts line is still around? The figures didn't sell all that amazingly when they first came out in Japan. Seems like they should be trying to cater more to our market than theirs.

In a perfect world they would cater to the best market which in fact would be America. Unfortunately, they don't...to an extent. They do care enough to give us anime accurate exclusives, but they don't care enough to turn the whole line anime accurate in the first place. Anime accuracy would please not only America but also the rest of the international market since most of the world knows of DBZ through the show and not the manga. Yet, they continue to release manga versions as "regular" releases and the more expensive, more exclusive ones are the appropriate versions aka, anime versions. Dragonball really isn't that popular in Japan so for the life of me I don't know why they continue this charade.
In this case however, this benefits the international market. In order to satisfy the 5 people in Japan that still like DBZ, they are most likely going to release this Namek and/or Saiyan Saga Goku in manga colors (the light orange that current Goku has).
