Random thought...why can't they do any normal releases for DBZ? Plenty of other lines have a good variety of standard releases and web exclusives, but not DBZ, can't have that now can we. All we get are constant re-releases of those same old manga figures... What exactly is going on over at Tamashii headquarters regarding DBZ? We really need an inside man. The reason DBZ is a web exclusive line is because it's Japan's least popular tamshii line. It's an American run series. So because it's not big in Japan they are made to order there and not released to the masses. Hence why they are web exclusive. I think North American fans don't realize that DBZ isn't exactly a popular franchise compared to others in Japan.

I know it's not that popular in Japan but that shouldn't mean anything. Literally ALL the releases except the first 3 are web exclusives. America kept the line from going under. I disagree with A LOT of their policies, it's just not smart business-wise to have it the way it is. How is it though that DBZ is practically the ONLY line out of the many that they have that is run this way?

I'm interested to see how the Fukkatsu no F action figures do, with the film debuting so well in Japan. I can understand the lack of interest in wanting to purchase the same Goku 1000 times over, but maybe the new and fresh designs will bring revitalized interest into the figuarts line.

How is it though that DBZ is practically the ONLY line out of the many that they have that is run this way? It sold that badly enough to warrant how it's run right now. DBZ just doesn't have the audience it does internationally compared to Japan.

Hey guys! I'm sorry to change topic, but I have a question. Do you think the Gotenks absorbed buu and Gohan absorbed buu are going to come in one pack, or two? The legs look the same, and we discovered with Android 17 that they can make the figures have removable torsos so they could just make them swappable. Also, in the picture below, there is only 1 sign stating "Majin-Buu", not 2 for each individual figure. Just curious what you all think. I would buy them together, but not separate. I would much rather get Kid, Super, or Fat Buu, but it would be worth the money if the two come in one box. (especially if it also included Super Buu!)

If more people supported the original figuarts when they originally came out, then we might not be where we are today.

It's an open topic regarding upcoming releases, it qualifies. Personally, I would like to see Gohan absorbed Super Buu and Gotenks absorbed Super Buu in separate releases and released the same month similar to RoF Goku and Frieza. It's highly unlikely though since Super Buu is potentially the release after the RoF figures but I would rather have to pay a lower price each rather than paying the same high price for both since I wanted to display both transformations. The sculpt is quite accurate but Gotenks absorbed Super Buu doesn't seem to have any extra heads so that makes me think it'll be include within the same release as Gohan absorbed Super Buu. I'm interested to see what Tamashii does.

I really hope they aren't combined, because I would want to have both Buus displayed. And, I don't want to have to pay the inflated price of a special/deluxe edition twice when I could just buy two figures for cheaper. I mean, if they did a deluxe kinda thing with two torso I could see it costing as much as Android 16 or Broly.
If they have any kind of special, it should just be a two-pack.

Mainly at the event. Some online stores (Bluefin and BBTS) have some for sell but they're slightly marked up from the SDCC price. Still better than paying EBay prices. Usually you can get em for around the same price as Bluefin (premium) included from eBay as long as you don't wait too long. I buy some on eBay a day or two after the event for around $65-70 which is the same price Bluefin charges. It's only a few weeks after when the price starts getting ridiculous. I remember SDCC Vegeta was $85 on Ebay when SDCC started.

I really don't like these Buu's coming out before Fat, Super and Kid Buu. I'd rather Evil Buu before these two. Although I do like the look of Super Buu Gotenks never really liked the Gohan form.

I'm way more excited for the Buus than Gohan or SS4 Goku! They look fantastic. I honestly hope they're separate releases. If they're swappable torsos, the figure will cost more, and then you'd have to get 2 of that more expensive figure if you want to display both forms. But if they were separate, it would cost less to buy both!

I generally only like displaying a character once, so I guess that's why I wouldn't really mind just the one Buy release. I think the signs are pointing towards one release! Yay! (And sorry lol.) I'm interested in seeing what they do, too!

Little green, micro72, Elmo, and jonmichael, I was also talking to you guys! Still haven't figured out how to do double quotations in a post. But I get it for display purposes! I would also just want to pay one larger, $60 than two $40.

Actually I think in the original releases. Piccolo came first.. And Goku wasn't an sdcc last summer it was Scouter Vegeta in original anime colors. SDCC '11: SSJ Goku SDCC '12: Teen Gohan SDCC '13: Piccolo SDCC '14: Original colors Scouter Vegeta You're right! But I was just referring to the reissues, not SDCC recolors. Oh yeah my bad... I just don't see them re-releasing SSJ Vegeta cause he's a web exclusive... The only way they could get around that is repaint him and add the gold boot tips... But that likely won't happen...
