ToadKart do you think vegito would be that successful? I would've done that with broly if I had the money, like a few members here did. However, I dont think vegito would be that successful. Maybe as the androids, but not as broly.

Yeah, I know. I was just joking. In a serious reply to MajinRob, members of this forum had this same discussion back when some were buying 20 Broly's so this will be beating a dead horse at this point, but it's not my fault if A. Bandai creates this kind of aftermarket themselves. B. People waited too long to pre-order the figure at the original price and are now forced to pay a lot more. (I hate that I will have to pay so much for Frieza and Cell, but it's my own fault for not buying them a long time ago. Not the scalper's fault.) C. People are willing to pay such prices. ToadKart do you think vegito would be that successful? I would've done that with broly if I had the money, like a few members here did. However, I dont think vegito would be that successful. Maybe as the androids, but not as broly. I'd think so since Saiyans are popular. I think it's pretty much impossible to lose money on these. Hell, even Krillin is going for $90+ now. Sure, not every figure will be as popular as others, but a profit's a profit. |

And I thought I was special buying 6  I'm only getting them for the boot tips but there's always selling if they come out with legit boot tipped Saiyans haha ^Great points btw. If people weren't willing to pay hundreds of dollars for a figure then these guys wouldn't cost that much. If Tamashii doesn't want to re-release their figures for people that missed out on em, let the scalpers scalp. Unfortunately that's the way it is. For example, for SDCC, I'm glad there are scalpers. I can't get to buy the figure physically so the scalpers do it for me. They charge a premium (obviously) and if I feel it's fair, I'll buy it. Though in this specific scenario, I just wait for Bluefin premium. |

haha... actually any obsolete out of production will have their market rise in future ..
and since it's tamashii release, expect no reissue .. heck, even gohan as normal release is quite expensive .. see how it will do after release next month ..
17 & 18 is just a matter of time ...

I only think it's cheap if the dude is selling it for 100+ $ later, or more than that. However, I don't think it's so bad due to the figures selling out so fast.
