Yeah, maybe, or you could use the aura effect that came with the SS3 Goku and combine it with a few ground effects from the Saint Cloth Myth EX Display Stage . The ground parts from those stages don't have any small clouds but I think it'd be close enough. ^^^in response to all above^^^ Again...I can't help but wonder if some sort of buying protest would help things. We may have to find a way to get in touch with the Tamashii rep or post on Facebook to make sure it works (or put the DBF Twitter profile to good use and ask Bluefin, maybe that would be best), but I think if we turn Krillin into a hot seller regardless of everything else it may help increase the chances of a Tien or Yamcha (let's face it, all the polls in the world won't and haven't changed anything up to this point)...but it would have to be an obvious protest for just those two (it would be a shame to make Krillin a hot seller only for them to misinterpret the message and think they need to make a Saiyan Saga Krillin), and then I don't know how many people would have to make purchases to make it successful AND THEN there's the issue of how many would be willing to participate. I know some people at Sideshow hate Yamcha and Tien and think this site is an echo chamber dedicated to side characters. Who knows if such a protest could even work. I'd be willing to do it but let's say 1000 people have to buy multiple Krillins to make enough noise...I simply don't see that happening...Idk, just a thought. |

The Vegeta looks great! I wish it had the bleach blond look. I don't know why, but I just thought it looked so cool! Although, it doesn't work for the Buu Saga, because it wouldn't transition well to Goku's SSJ3 long haired look.

In what way would not buying Krillin encourage them to make other characters? I don't understand this whole... "protest" thing.  It'd be more sensible to encourage people to buy Krillin, Goku, for that matter ALL figuarts figures from the primary market (Amazon, Big Bad Toy Store, Tamashii's site, or whereever else) rather than the secondary market (ebay) in which somebody buys a figure from the primary market and then resells it for profit on ebay. The money from the primary market goes back into the pockets of Tamashii and encourages them to produce more figures. In other words, what I'm saying is if you want Krillin, you should buy him when he's new for $30-$40 instead of buying him for $80 6 months later because the only person seeing that extra $40 is the seller who probably got him for $30 to $40 when new. |

That's what I'm saying, a buying protest. Poor choice of words, Idk. As I said...have a lot of people buy multiple Krillins to get the message out that we want other side characters. I don't know how it could possibly start or how many would support it but buying the product would be so much better than yet another poll that may not even grab their attention. eh. forget it, I guess I'll go ask Tamashii on Twitter (edit, now waiting for a response).

That Krillin protest thing is silly for at least 2 reasons:
1-So you dont want SSJ and then you dont buy a guy who isnt one?
2-He is already sold out at most online stores anyway...

As a kid I could never understand how it was possible for Goofy was a near-sentient humanoid canine-like character to exist. Yet Mickey owned Pluto, whom is clearly a genuine run of the mill dog. I'm just funny that way. I have similar feelings towards Disney's Cars and Planes franchises, if the cars are built by machines - who builds the machines that build the cars... and better yet, who is extracting and refining the crude oil for the vehicles??? Perplexing!
f all this petty bickering over what possibilities of future releases Tamashii may or maybe in consideration of producing. I for one am fing ecstatic about Krillin and I have to say both he and Regular Goku look to be incredible additions. Best Krillin figure ever, I want and therefore will have! If you feel you want more off beat characters such as Krillin, you know what to do... buy one! The only thing that speaks clearly to business is SALES goddamn it. What the Tamashii employee spoke for at that NYCC is totally correct! The Japanese audience has very different wants to the western demographic. At the same time the majority of the sales are going offshore to America and the likes. So, it would do them a great service to listen to what we demanding over Japan. That's not being close-minded, that's just common sense. What interests me the most of what was spoken, is that the creative have many unseen prototypes under wraps. This is intriguing to me. It might be that there is more reason to the characters listed in the official Tamashii polls than we'd think. No?

I agree with ya there and the latter is also what I'm kindof curious about. You'd start to think they might've already have protos of the stuff on their survey.
However, if it's sales they want in both markets imo it's super clear what three characters to release now, because the buu period is still missing their period-defining icons. I don't see how you can get away with ignoring that so they might as well just get it over with. After that imo this discussion on what to release next will become a lot more interesting since theyll have had all period defining character (except saiyan/namek Gohan but he seems sorely lacking immediate popularity). The line is doing great so I have no problems waiting a bit in order to get some representing the third era of DBZ.

As far as Majin Buu goes, I see the potential for a Fat Buu release to be the greatest for two reasons. Firstly, the Japanese love that fat son of a bitch and lastly, we already have a SS3 Goku release so he'd partner up well.

Ssj3 Goku also fights kid buu so that argument is leveled. But moreover, if they release fat buu and not kid buu there will be a crapstorm here in america. I'm not saying I will rage, I dont even care for the character in genral, but I swear, riots in the street man, protest marches and all that jazz. Seriously though, look at the sideshow poll, look at the polls here. Look at peoples avatars etc. Kid Buu and Majin Vegeta just need to get here. It's simple and innevitable if Tamashii wants to serve popularity, the poll-capsizing will remain so long as they don't so they might as well just get it over with. Amd seeing as Ultimate Gohan's body already exists in mass production, might as well swap the head and chuck that one in too. There, done. It can't hurt the Iine, because if anything it'll rave its sales even higher and then we can all start campaiging for tien, or nappa, or freakin oolong again. I'm sorry but it just seems common sense to me. It can be over in practically a year. The screaming fanboys will have what they want, the line will now attract fans of all periods, and the playing field is more level in terms of who to get next. It just seems straightforward to me. Also I personally wont even buy kid buu, this isnt a personal hidden agenda. You can check my sideshow votes for yourself (my avatar + 17/8 2-pack). EDIT: to add numbers to it, we now have nearly 40 entries on sideshow with everyyone getting 2 votes each. Kid Buu has 11, Vegeta and Buu period Gohan both 8 (2 of Gohan are yournament, 6 ultimate), the closest runner up is 18 I think with 5. Broli has 4 or 5 too and I think everything else is 3 or below. THREE OR BELOW vs Kid Buu's 11 and vegeta and gohan's 8! Im like, just get it over with already.  I dont care anymore, I'll wait. I dont expect tamashii will gather much different data. And I also dont expect we can push them for much else except maybe ah gotenks or something. |
