Sometimes I forget the reason I started collecting these was to pit them with other wacky characters. This stuff is so freakin expensive tho, I can't justify buying doubles or getting characters I don't care much about........ Cui would have made a great inclusion in my Great Saiyaman shelf. Still waiting on Videl and Jaco tho. What other event exclusives are there other than Goku + Gohan btw? ALSO, Ascat, what shelves do you have?? They look like double wide detolfs but the closest I could ever find to something like that is the shelves with those huge bulky wooden linings that kinda obscure the scenes within. Lacklustre repaints of Super Trunks and Jiren Both figs I wanted tho! |

They all look pretty cute but I'm not sure if I'll get any of them cuz I don't even know a single thing about Daima yet.
Has anyone else felt like GT is being pushed pretty hard lately? Not that I'm complaining, just find it weird. Funko's been releasing a ton of new Pop!s from GT and I feel like I've been seeing more SS4 merch lately.

Daima Figures! Adorable 
Goku and Vegeta are under 4000y and Piccolo is over 7000y. Size is 70mm (around 3 inch like Goku GT) if I correctly read that posters.

The figures look really good for what they are. Hopefully the series will be written well and not embarrassing (like Super often was... especially those first 36 episodes. Episode 47, when the Goku Black saga began, is when the show actually gets good.) I have to try to remind myself that I like DB more than DBZ/GT/S, and half the main characters were children (or child-shaped (Pilaf)) in that. There's a chance DBD will be good, as long as they got good writers (which Super didn't really seem to have half the time). According to one news source on Facebook today, this character sheet has Kaioshin, someone named Glorio, and someone named Pantsy. I hope that last name is accurate, because I'm not going to be okay with her name being what it could be since she's clearly a child...  They really made Dragon Ball GO! Lol |

Great tip! I've been checking those out lately, particularly some of the Air studio kits on 5ktoys. After seeing how good pictures of their latest releases look, I went ahead and preordered the Air x HM studio combo kit for Gohan. Their Trunks hair looks so clean, and the torn gi accessories for shirtless goku looked amazing from the pictures I've seen.
You're welcome  There plenty of possibilities with these alternate factories. Now, i only have hopes with these to get new characters, or improved ones, much more than with Bandai i mean.
So I guess no Perfect Cell 2 for a while...
I know that my opinion is unpopular for some people, but i stick with it : being in the first place a huge fan of action figures, i see as a bad news new movies or a new serie like Daima. Because of these, the DBZ line is basicly stopped for a while.
I barely have hopped to see a new perfect Cell next week at SDCC.

In good news, this was Toriyama's last work working on Dragon Ball directly, so the writing will be more akin to the movies Battle of Gods, Resurrection of F, DBS Broly, and Super Super Hero. He didn't work on the anime directly, and from what I've read, was also frustrated with the writing a lot of the time. I always found the characterization to be on point with the movies he wrote, which to me always mattered most of all. In Toriyama I trust. Diggin' on the designs; not really pumped for the figures since articulation seems like it'll be limited, but perhaps that'll change with seeing Daima. Crazy how quickly it's approaching! |

I think Daima will be pretty good because it PROBABLY will feel like the OG Dragon Ball.
I think I am getting the Kid Vegeta to pose near my kid Goku.
