Ascat , yeah theres hope seeing as it is Goku and not some frieeza soldier in the background, but i'm not holding my breath! Nice display BTW - i like how you have the 3 stages of the Goku v Frieza fight i too have taken it to the mash up of DF and another SS goku head, but for various reasons i just cant bring myself to paint it into the correct colours that i want ( which if anyone remembers my customising is quite surprising for me!) and i want the 2.0 goku ss head, but donthave a second one... if i had enough spare cash i'd just double up and paint the new ones. Also that DF Goku is more exspensive now aswell - if you can even find it, i even tried to get a proper no name KO of it but that was sent straight back as the torso was so shrunk it was ridiculous! in fact DF could easily do it - probably in 3.0, but they probably wont... oh well.. oh yikes i didnt know the DF goku went up in price as well. geez even the third party stuff is getting out of hand. lol guess the best thing is to just wait. i really do think this will get release eventually. Hell, it might even be an SDCC exclusing |

Ascat yeah, tbh I'm not a fan of any of the initial pricing (except the standard releases - which are acceptable) let alone the after market prices, which we all know can get r i d i c u l o u s. For me it would kind of be worse if they did do my wanted SS Goku as an SDCC exclusive as its harder to get that stuff in the UK (especially at a reasonable price) ...
Frieza and Cell are my favourite villains, i think we are all waiting for a Perfect Cell upgrade. I would like to have the space like you to do multiple displays, but alas i dont... i think to make any room i would have to get rid of book shelves / books - and i cant do that!
just looking again at your first photo in your last post, i think i can see the custom Vegeta you mentioned (nice) , and next to him is a stark reminder just how stupidly big Krillin (and Gohans) head is... I'm sorry but its the same size as Vegetas torso! ... i sincerley hope they have stopped doing that... hopefully the GT goku and Pan are a sign they might have..

Preordered the new Vegeta, and ordered Kefla and Namek Bulma as well.  Who's the next release between Cui and Full Power Frieza? I gotta say though: Ascat your display absolutely rules. |

lol yep thats my custom vegeta, the sucky thing is i made three of them... and yep that big head krillin sucks,luckily we seem to be headed to the right path into making them to scale with the rest of the figures. I wouldnt mind if they reboot the whole DB line and make them to scale with the Z GT and Super line. |

this krillin is a static figure but the scale is great, the heads on gohan and krillin fit the group well
lol what sucks the most is the super hero pan, the smallest figure with quite literally the (almost) biggest head out of all the figuarts. If im not mistaken, its almost as big as the fat buu

i can think of a few reasons that ive said before, but i think the answer is no one understands because it doesnt make sense, its just stupid and Tamashi needs to stop it ( and rerelease the already ruined figures with decent sized heads - or some third party needs to release some properly scaled heads, instead of goku hair all the time! )
Ascat - oof, i feel your pain, making not 1, not 2, but 3 of those Vegetas just before they announced an offical one!  oh well its the risk we take when customising a main character, fortunately i had quite a while of enjoyment out of my customs of the figures they didnt make for years ( yamcha, tien etc.), but seeing as how Tamashi are seemingly just a bit random nowadays we never quite know whats coming.. Those static figures prove that someone somewhere at Bandai knows what scale the Z soldiers should be in relation to each other and their head sizes!....
i think i should have just bought those statue figures at the time they released ( i have the gashapons of them) but by the time i knew about those you have they had already jumped in price, but essentially that is the set up i (and i'm sure a lot of others) want, but in SHF, so i can have them posed like that or in action poses aswell.
we are getting there but it still wont be perfect... I'm not so bothered about trunks having the vest on or not, and i can over look the tips of Vegetas boots ( or paint them and paint a SS vegeta hair black) but i still think Tien and Picollo should be a bit taller which is annoying, however its less annoying than Krillins head size!
also we need an android saga Gohan with mullet and ankle warmer things, the kid Gohan could have been an ok substitute - IF it didnt have a MASSIVE head ( which is why i sold it straight away, as i was so peed off about it and clearly have never gotten over it as i always mention it lol).
i hope we do get an older kid Gohan with correct scaled head once we get back to the android / Cell saga.
