I'm a little unsure what to say, but let me preface this with: I'm not angry with anyone because I think everyone's intent was relatively innocent, and nothing has crossed the line too much yet. But I'm cautious, and I want to make sure we don't go there. So here's a general warning to all. I don't want this turning into a topic that isn't appropriate for children to see, so please don't talk about Goten and Trunks cuddling and Pride Month in the same sentence, because it walks the line of what's appropriate for DBF and can lead to unkind comments and inappropriate language. Let's try to keep the discussion focused on canon DB stuff, a PG-13 level of content, and appropriate-for-most-ages figures.
So... let me kind of outline two things...
1) I know that the internet, particularly social media, and a few other similar sites like DeviantArt aren't particularly monitored strictly these days (like they kind of were 20 years ago... from my perspective). A lot of pictures and text on these things aren't appropriate for a 13 year old child to see. DBF needs to remain appropriate for a 13 year old child to see. So sensitive topics that can serve as ways to divide us shouldn't be talked about here, and language, pictures, and references need to not walk or cross that line or hint at that realm. I won't allow political discussion here, so Biden, Trump, etc. stuff gets deleted immediately, just as an example. Sex is always off limits. Pride Month isn't political, and Pride Month in itself is somewhat appropriate enough, but there are a lot of opportunities for it to become a problem with being appropriate for a 13 year old child to read, and also lead to #2...
2) DBF should never become the typical internet forum full of mean spirited sarcasm, bashing, trolling, and just generally annoying insults. We are all DB/Z/GT/Super fans and we aren't here to insult each other or make each other mad. DBF is a forum to come to and have a positive, happy experience.
So please, let's just not go there. We're all friends here who love DB/Z/GT/S and we're all welcome to have our beliefs and feelings, but we all have to be mindful that there are certain things that aren't supposed to be discussed here.

Agreed, Branjita . Let's keep the focus on what matters here: dragon ball figures. Any other subjects that aren't related to that should be avoided, specially the ones that might end up in this kind of discussion. There are other places in the internet to do so.  |

I dont care about the Trunks or Goten ship, but if thats not allowed I guess we cant discuss kid Chi-Chi and kid Goku also innocuous relationship right? Or Roshi pedo behaviour?  I mean to be fair Kleo didnt say anything about them being kids, and specifically asked for an adult Goten figure, I think something is happening here and is associating being lgbt with something purely sexual when we are more than that as well as straight people, and pride month is just celebration for our rights so I dont see any problem with an user wanting to express that with grown up versions of their fav characters (and he didnt even post pics of anything, just commented it) Believe me that if I had a safe environment when I was a little kid I would have grown up happier. Ofc sexual topics are out of the table on this forum but he didnt say anything about that, he just mentioned cuddling which means absolutely nothing. Anyways I just wanted to express my point. I left a spanish forum because some homophobic comments and I dont want to leave this one but I dont want lgbt topics to be taboo, specially when Kale, Caulifla and Whis exist (mentioning them only cause they are good representation, I rather forget about the bad ones in DB ) edit. I do agree that this thread should be only to discuss the figures, but I find it funny how it has derailed just because someone posted an inoffensive comment. Hmm food for thought. |

Having SHF’s of “adult” Goten & Trunks from Super Hero was a missed opportunity, they made almost everyone else (even Broly who only had like 4 minutes of screen time total) so Tamashii skipping them was baffling to me. Even Fat Gotenks. And Cheelai. And Lemmo.
But yeah, still want chibi Goten & Trunks too. If Tamashii ever gets around to making Broly from Second Coming then they HAVE to make the kids too, and even Gohan. All those are easy sells Tamashii, come on

Tamashii really needs to stop showing prototypes if they are never been made They’ve been doing this for a very long time, since the line started. The first was Nappa, granted we did get him many years later, but not the armorless version that most of us wanted. The feet were a little small but otherwise it was spot-on perfect. Then there’s Champa & Vados. They looked production-ready, I don’t know why those 2 weren’t greenlit. Lets not forget that SS3 Vegeta they showed off that one time. To me it was a little weird looking, but I’m sure a lot of people got excited to own one. But wasn’t meant to be. I recall a giant Capsule Corporation Spaceship that Goku used to fly to Planet Namek at one of their shows. That would’ve been great to have as a set piece, but I believe it was just there for decoration, not as a prototype unfortunately. We never got the Special Beam Cannon that was shown with Piccolo way back in 2014. It’s his signature move, why would they omit that? |
